Hello, is there any way I could go about downloading a older version then the one you have up on the website? Because personally all i really want is to have unlimited exploration but i cant seem to achieve that within the current demo, its blocked by some border. I just like the game so much and I think it would be a shame to not be able to experience the stages it has went through upon development as well.

Nope, just press F2 to switch between schemes. Or, in the other scheme, press Ctrl to keep your ship from steering while you aim.

Quick question, what's the current plan on fixed mounted weapons (coaxial weapons) and rounded blocks? Will they be added in this year?

Fixed weapons: Once I find a nice way for those, I have to give it some thought, but it's not a priority right now.

Rounded blocks: Never.

Go ahead and create a thread in the suggestions forum, maybe some people would like that as well and could add some input. :)

But I would guess that this would be a feature that is not very high priority right now.

so,i got recruited and what i see

 

- 10 destroyed ships 7 clicks from me

 

-  2 bandits trying to escape(they died)

 

-  3 friendly destroyed ships

 

 

what im trying to say,is that there should be a way to colonise/repair destroyed ships

like i(accsedently) rammed an asteroid,got my ship killed and its gone.

i think it would be pretty neat to have some mecanic to repair ships that just sit around in space,stopping trafic and causing eny other problems.

also there should be OK ships(not damaged),that are infested by aliens and wich you have 2 board in order to get the ship or cargo.maby some crewmembers too...

 

just ideas tho,but id love to see them in the game :D

Taking hold and repairing wreckages would be kinda cool, but it would make salvaging way too efficient ("repair" the ship, then redestroy it in build mode to get all resources back).

Maybe one in ten wreckages could be repaired this way, as a rare event ?

 

It would also make getting naonite and lower tier hangars a possibility with copying and pasting (by repairing one of those carriers found in faction war fleets) without having to roam yellow sectors in the search of extra elusive reclaimable carrier wreckages ::).

 

For now, asteroids are the strongest enemies in the game (unless playing on Insane, when Boss Swoks may be the biggest threat in a titanium vers titanium fight) fear them ;D ! I even made asteroidlike ramming ships in creative, they can easily suicide-bomb ships that are ten times as big and expensive (just make a ship with a lot of inertial dampeners and no thrusters (only gyros), completely covered in rock, then put a velocity bypass module, it'll ram at high speeds while told to escort ;D). They would be actually practical if it didn't need a costly captain to order the ramming.

 

Oh, the demo ! Try to buy the game or see an LP of it (I knew this game with

): the demo is really bad to get a first impression, it's a really old version and is limited to iron, and armor and rock are joined into simple rock, so you have to do things like solar panel 0.05-thick millefeuilles and stupidly heavy rock-armoring.

как идея что игроки могут заказать за свои деньги других игроков с перечесленеем после заказа денег на сервер с выплотой денег по исполнению в срок исполнения  или возврат минус 10 процентов за услуги

Hey,

 

is there a place where we can add some ideas for missions? I have some and i think there are many other people with good ideas.

 

I think when the developer use the good ones there is a big profit to the game.

Hey guys, I haven't played for a few years (I completely skipped over 1.0 I think) and started playing again a week or two ago. Really happy to see all of the changes that happeI was wondering if someone has a few links or topics they think might be a nice one to read up on. I've already played a bit, so the basic game mechanics I got under control, but any nice tips and tricks are more than welcome 🙂

Not sure has anybody asked when Avorion 2 is up 🙂

But in general i dont have anybody asked would it be nice that you could help for example operation exodus people ie buiding station them to live by. Offcourse not mandatory but and option etc. 

Would give game bit more meaningfull endings. etc.

It seems that nobody from Boxelware comes to the forum anymore.

It's really sad. Avorion is a really good game. There are only a few bugs left. But now they have put all their resources into the Aqua Park project. That's understandable, but on the other hand you leave thousands of Avorion players behind with a game that still contains unpleasant bugs. After all, the game has sold over 700,000 copies.

This behaviour on the part of Boxelware does not inspire confidence in future games.
