MTBS Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Hi, My ship controls used to work well when I was using an external display; after switching to the laptop display, it appears that there is a deadzone preventing me from rolling or pitching extensively. Can you please look into it?

Boxelware Team Rymaca Posted March 10 Boxelware Team Posted March 10 Can you please give me detailed steps to reproduce this? And could you describe the dead zone in more detail? Which exact input is affected by the dead zone?
MTBS Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 (edited) Hi Rymaca, Thanks for the reply. All I did was disconnect my laptop from my external display as I needed to use my laptop on a business trip. As for the deadzone, it is almost like my ship refused to move in the immediate control mode; roll and pitch of the ship was limited and the ship could barely adjust its bearing at all. @Rymaca Edited March 10 by MTBS
Boxelware Team Rymaca Posted Wednesday at 09:45 AM Boxelware Team Posted Wednesday at 09:45 AM Could you please clarify what you mean by 'deadzone'? Are you referring to a situation where small mouse movements aren't registered, or does this issue also affect keyboard inputs? Understanding this will help me better diagnose the problem. It would also be very helpful if you could record a short video of this situation, upload it somewhere and share it with me.
MTBS Posted Wednesday at 12:53 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 12:53 PM External display disconnected.mp4 I have attached two videos for contrasting; one with external display disconnected and one with it connected. Hope that helps! @Rymaca External display connected.mp4
