  1. Currently ingame, there is absolutely zero reason to build the Solar Panel blocks ingame. As titanium (which can be found in the spawn system) generators are just superior. This is only worsened by the progression further in the game as generators with each tier progressively produce more and more power, while Solar Panels recieve no similiar gains. Some Examples: 100x1x100 Titanium Solar Panel: 20.4Gw 100x1x100 Titanium Generator: 825Gw 100x1x100 Ogonite Solar Panel: 20.4Gw 100x1x100 Ogonite Generator: 1500Gw If the same scaling of Titanium>Ogonite is applied to solar panels, the resultant power output would be 36.72Gw.

  2. Here are a few ideas for Hyperspace that I'm sure Koonschi would like to implement 😛 Currently the hyperspace jump is rather boring and could use some visual and acoustical improvements. Through the ideas, I imagine that the immersion and gameplay will be improved. Here are the details of the idea: -After dialing up, I hear a clear charging of the hyperspace generators and an energy bubble charges around the ship (or something like that). So you have a visual detection of ships trying to enter hyperspace. -After launching into hyperspace, one visually and audibly exits the sector and enters the hyperspace loading screen. This is done by a positive exponential acceleration, so that you quickly escape the planets behind you, for example. -The loading screen is decorated with a hyperspace "bubble", the camera rotates around your ship and you can see it moving through hyperspace. -After loading, you can jump out of the bubble into the next sector by pressing any key, and you can see the sector approaching from a great distance. You could implement this into Avorion like the Torpedo Launchers as a ship block but it should consume massive ammounts of power and it schould have a long cooldown, atleast thats what i would do with the Big Ion and Plasma Canon, the Big M.A.C should consume less Power but still a big amount and you need ammo like a Torpedo Launcher does. And of course, enemy ships can have does weapons to. Cloaking: Cloaking could be a System upgrade or a ship block and should consume a good amount of power but not like the engines where the longer you boost the more power it consumes, it should have a fixed amount of power consumtion so that you can theoreticly be invisible for ever. This would be cool for a survey ship or if you whant to smuggle a lot or maybe you whant to overpower an enemy with many small cloakt ships by silently grouping up in a sector and then uncloaking all at once for massive confussion. If Cloaking is Enabled: Your Shields are disabled, Your Weapons are offline, You can communicate with ships and stations but you can not dock or buy things and you cant deploy figthers. If Cloaking is Disabled: Your Shields will be up again in 10 to 20 seconds and have full Helath, Your Weapons are instantly online, and of course you can then deploy fighters and do trading and stuff. Of curse you need somthing to counter cloaking and there should be a block or system upgrade to uncloak enemys or to be uncloaked. Sorry for my bad english 😕

  4. I see a role for a fleet support ship that can dock with isolated stations and ships so that they can safely remove upgrade chips without destroying them. I am not concerned about the E-Dock Stores/Purchase aspect of said ship, only the capability to park with another ship or station in isolated space to help that ship or station swap-out lower-quality upgrade chips without destroying them, so that other ships & stations in the player fleet can make use of those same upgrades. I want to impart Safe Removal of Permanently-Installed upgrades to a MOBILE, volume-limited service boat that can travel with a fleet, or alone, and will perform that same E-Dock Safe Removal mechanic without having to Dock to and Fly an entire E-Dock station to the target sector. The current practice of docking and flying one station to service the upgrades of another station in a different sector is about the stupidest gyration I have ever seen in a space game - it is a bad concept and cumbersome in execution - STATIONS shouldn't be flying ANYWHERE ... They're called "stations" for a reason - by definition, they are fixed points in the geography. If we have a need to fly stations anywhere, then let's put engines on them and leave it at that. I will emphasize that this item should be applied to a low-volume service ship as an Upgrade or special block. No, there is NOT a mod for that ...
