  1. I don`t know this already exist but whats with more Diversity of Systems? After 20 hours i didn`t see a Neutron Star or Stars/Systems like Stellaris (Real Space 3.8) So every System is more dynamic and have Real Star Class O, B, A, F, G, K, M, L and T ? Real Black Holes with Damage and other Stuff should be nice. The current system is more a Planet with Faction Stations and Stars are 100000 km a way...Adding more realistic looking stars would be nice, it's more to the gamer's eye. It would be a nice feature. 😄 And that's real space, and it would be nice, not 100% like that, but a bit more realistic system stars or only systems with supergiant stars? I would like more QoL content. . 🙂

  2. Hey, I might have some insight on this. Some weapons will apply huge amounts of heat per shot, but between the cooldown rate and the firerate, this allows the turret to cool off enough before the next shot, allowing the continuous shots figure you see. However, I don't believe the vanilla calculations take into account simultaneous shooting. Or at least it doesn't do it properly. I believe max heat is 100, so if all weapons firing together are enough, it'll put it over this with ease. There's also a mod out there, Detailed Turret Tooltips, I think it's called? This mod shows the actual heat level applied per shot and the amount cooled off per second. Might help visualizing it better.

  3. I like Coax turret but at late game it is hard to fit them in a 15 slot ship. I would see this weapon for small vessel better like the Ion frigate from homeworld for excample. I would see an option to build in weapon factory a option to switch a weapon to coax by remove the servos to 0 or the weapon could get the coax option by added more parts that incrase the damage. And a better aim spot to see it easier on the display.

  4. Currently, the top speed of a ship depends only on the size if its engines, it does not matter how big and heavy it is. This leads to big ships reaching ridiculous speeds. I suggest to limit that behavior by making the top speed dependent on how much N(ewton) of thrust the ship has relative to its mass in kg. A simple formula that always lets a ship limp home on a tiny thruster would be Vmax = 75m/s + (constant factor) * thrust / mass Then every ship would get 75 m/s as base velocity plus an additional velocity on top that depends on engine size and mass. If it is desired that big ships are faster but not as crazy fast as now, the formula could be something like Vmax = 75m/s + (constant factor) * thrust / (function that slowly grows with more mass)
