The flushtrader.lua is a script/mod I added later in case it could help (added it a couple of hours after waiting for the trading post to start trading). It deletes all traders in the sector when typing /flushtraders, but they come back shortly, at least to the mines/solar plant as usual..
Ok, I now understand that the 0 selling and buying is normal, but both trading posts (and turret factory) have 0 stock of everything since I first built them, I've never seen a trader going their way either. Do I have to fill them up manually with the goods they buy for them to start selling and attracting traders?
Thx for the help btw.

Sorry for the late response, here's the save: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bQFES0zwNRyrqS1qTGjjsZ4SeCQsZLS6 (is this right?)
Unlike the mines, the trading posts and turret factory don't have the "tab" to set prices and ask for traders to come.

Well, I made another trading post in another sector and its the same. And as the trading posts, the turret factory is still not trading or otherwise "generating" any goods. Am I missing something?

Hi all. So, I built a trading station for my alliance (playing alone/with a friend), and well, it has 0 stock of every good, offers 0 credits for everything it can buy and asks 0 credits of everything it can sell. It's been floating there uselessly for at least 5+ hours, I haven't seen any trader approaching it, but why should them if it doesn't offer anything..
I have 2 asteroid stations and one solar power plant in the same sector and they do produce and sell to the traders that come looking for goods, (although they still offer 0 for what they can buy).
I recently created a Turret factory (all in the same sector) and it also offers 0 stock of its goods, for 0 money each.. although that one is still new..
There are no traders stuck in asteroids, in fact I tried turning the asteroid mines and solar plant off and no traders appeared at all. The station does have docking blocks and a cargo space of about 80k. And some assembly blocks just in case.
If anyone has any idea of what may be the problem, I'd appreciate it. Thx for reading anyway :p.

Allright I'm actually glad I was in the wrong then, thank you all for the answers.

Yeah the rifts expand, I "thought" I saw some friendly sectors disappear into it, I have marked a couple now but haven't had time to confirm it myself, but I've read in plenty of posts that it happens, I don't know how long it takes, a hella long time for sure, but it would still be nice to just completely forget about it.

Hi all, I've been searching but I can't seem to find anything, so I ask: Is there any way at all to stop the rifts from expanding? A mod or a way to edit server files or something? I dont mean removing all rifts or the ring in the center, although I may settle with that.
I know its a cool feature and makes sense since the idea is to push into the middle, but mostly I just play to chill, I spend lots of time just moving about, building unpaused, etc., and I've read I can cheat some avorion in and move over the rifts and get into the middle (where I guess rifts dont expand?), but that's still a bit anti-chilling for me, and leaves a smaller playfield in the end.
I have no idea if the rifts expand in creative mode, but that wouldn't be what I'm looking for either.
If anyone knows of a way to deal with this, I'd appreciate it, thanks for reading anyway.
Own trading station not trading?

Well, I reinstalled Avorion, started a new game, cheated some resources to get a trading post and left it there for about an hour, didn't trade at all sadly.
