  1. There's a typo in Chapter 2 of History of the Galaxy. "Becan" should be "began."
  2. I can see two 'Silicon' orders in the drop-down menu in the Buy/Sell trade window when ordering ships. It's been kinda bugging me since Early Access. Is there a reason for this? That and I remember that the mined crystalline was previously called "Silicium..."
  3. When I ordered my ship to jump into the sector to trade in, they are unable to proceed to the trading step in the Enchain Order list. This can be temporarily fixed by making sure the trade order is not the last order in the queue, by enchaining another command; such as jumping into the same sector they're trading in. (PS: I previously reported this in relation with the known Refine Ore command bug back in version 0.33. But turns out fixing that didn't also fixed the trading command. Maybe they are separate codes or something?)
  4. All other blocks (ie: Generator, Shield, Armor, etc.) have HUD indicators showing their respective attribute stats to be added, but the crew quarters isn't showing the number of additional crew cap when selected. A minor bug, but every little counts.
  5. I bought a special offer torpedo when I noticed that the timer is "resetting..." Is it, though? [11:23 AM EDIT] It looks like the timer also resets whenever I buy regular items in the Equipment Dock.
  6. Be careful if you're playing on windowed. If you target something via middle mouse button (default key), your mouse pointer will move outside the client window if you move around your mouse too much. It still persists even after removing targeting, until you click outside and your client window again. [4:49 AM QUICK-EDIT] Huh? Okay. After I sent my bug report (via in-game reporter), I suddenly don't have this manual targeting bug anymore. So I have no idea what's going on.
  7. Loaded up my game recently and I just noticed that my ship with the bugged Object Sensor that *had* the Exotic said upgrade, now has a different colored Object Sensor notification. It's now white instead of light blue. And most of all, the game isn't stuttering anymore! But the thing is, the game is still 1.0. Was there some sort of "silent upgrade" or something?
  8. Oh...whew. Thanks for the clarity. What time do you last remember this, though?
  9. Wait, it never lagged for you? Then what's going on?? I tried nearly everything trying to dissect this stuttering bug other than the Object Scanner and still no avail to me. If I have to delete and rebuild the ship to see if this will rescind the bug...sigh. And, exiting the game and reloading (restart) didn't worked for me, because this bug has happened to me in the past week.
  10. If stacking is the case, then I'm not sure if putting it back and on would worsen the stutter. But I'd not risk that. Eh.
  11. I equipped my ship with an exotic Object Sensor on my ship to spot hidden collectibles in the entire mass (yellow) sector. After I was done with it, I replaced it with another non-permanent upgrade module. However, the effects still linger on my ship and the Object Sensor is still active. Not sure if deleting the entire ship would neutralize the bug, but it's only one way to find out. And a byproduct of this bug is that the game stutters nearly every 8 seconds while the exotic Object Sensor is active, even without the upgrade equipped. 12. Okay, I think I might have found a breakthrough. I tried to do crazy things to try and prevent reproduction of this bug. Removing armor, technical blocks, even *all* my upgrade modules --- The latter which I did. I jumped into a nearby mass sector to test my naked ship setup to see if this might keep the ship from stuttering the game. Then I noticed something: The Object Sensor upgrade notification! And I didn't even have the upgrade on! I remember putting that on my ship just to get the benefit of spotting all hidden collectibles in the entire sector. After that, I would swap between it with my Tractor Beam so it would collect all scrap metal lying around. But when I removed all my upgrades and tested in a nearby mass sector, well bingo. Here we are. So, the cause IS the Object Sensor itself --- exotic type! Even after removing it, the benefits seem to still linger on the ship after removal. In turn, keeps giving me the notification which is causing the stuttering bug. Unfortunately, unless this stuck (and extra) upgrade is fixed, I can't be sure if the exotic Object Sensor and its notification is truly the cause of the stuttering. But the devs could try two birds with one stone in the process. I'm going to make a new bug report post concerning this, since this thread is already going everywhere. Hopefully this is the *last* major discovery that won't turn out to be another false hope.
  13. Nope, false alarm. It's not the upgrade that's the cause. It's the ship itself causing the problem... And that ship was built by myself. All my other ships don't cause my game to stutter, but the ship in question does. And I'm no architect here either. What is the cause of the problem here? At this point, I'm completely stumped. Guess I'll have to specify the title then.
  14. I have a trader ship collecting from stations with multiple factories of the same type. And they would go back and forth to collect from stations that clearly expended all of its stock. I keep seeing them collect like 50-100 goods, because these stations have low storage with an "ideal" sell price than other stations with higher stock but higher price... Can there be like an order option for ships to buy from each station with its target commodity, only once? Once they buy from that station, they can exclude it from their directive and move on to the next station, working their way up in order until they bought from all the stations in the sector, or reached the amount to have on their ship. Then they go to the next step in their order list (presumably jump).
  15. A straightforward minor bug: When the game is paused and I transfer crew members, the list does not update accordingly. Worst of all, it may make me transfer crew members that I do not intend to transfer.
  16. [MAJOR UPDATE] Okay, so I got my other combat ships into an explored yellow sector to clear our some pirates with a claimable asteroid. I just then noticed I hardly got any stutters while piloting my carrier-class ship (with cannons) to take out the pirates. When I went back to my ship that I used for scouting yellow sectors, I just realized *that* ship was the cause of my stuttering. It's because of the Exotic Object Sensor upgrade I installed on the scout ship. Maybe that is the cause of the stuttering?
  17. I manually loaded a torpedo into a shaft with an auto-load designation with torpedoes filled of a different type. When I did, I just saw it automatically convert into the same torpedo type with one of the torpedoes inside of it. Just designate a torpedo shaft to auto-load of a certain type. Watch it automatically load in unpaused real-time. Remove designation, then free up a torpedo space. Then manually click-and-drag the torpedo in storage to a shaft with torpedoes and watch it get converted into the same type. It's a minor bug, but I have a hunch this might downgrade high-end torpedoes with lower tech and rarity torpedoes.
  18. There was some I think. Some had little fog, some of them were really dense. But I didn't took notice of it if the fog was the cause of this stuttering. I'll try to keep the fog in mind while I continue to diagnose this problem.
  19. Whenever I explore a mass (yellow) sectors, I experience some "stuttering" where the game briefly freezes. This is occuring every nearly every 8 seconds. I believe this is when I was exploring a sector with like over 2000 asteroids. But if I explore in my drone, then I don't experience these stutterings. I mean, how insane are the graphics? Do I need a better CPU? The game pretty much eats up a lot of processing here... And the graphics aren't that intense either. 20. FULL TITLE: [0.33.6] Cloned ships while ordering a ship in the same sector to jump after exiting to drone Um...how can I explain this? I ordered one of my combat ships to head to a Resource Depot to refine scrap metal. I'm in the same sector and just exited into my drone so the drone is just about touching it. The game was not paused because ordering ships while within the loaded sector will not stack orders. It complied immediately and jumped into the waypoint empty sector, but when I exited the map, I noticed that the ordered ship was still in the same sector, and didn't jumped. I was like: "What?" So I decided to take control of the said ship and tried to move it myself, because the map locator isn't showing my ship on the map as opposed to the "other ship" that 'warped' ahead of it. Upon reaching the intended Resource Depot location manually, I just noticed an oddity: There are TWO same ships at the same time! The ship was just about done refining and was being pushed away from the depot. I have no idea what is going on here, but decided to mess around in this oddity to see how serious it may be. So I went out of my drone and ordered my bugged clone (whatever?) ship(s) to jump into another sector to see how it plays out. There was only one dot on the map; the real ship. But who. After ordering to jump, I only notice that two of them jump at the same time. I took control of the ship in the same sector but I couldn't find the clone ship (or maybe it's hard using H targeting because I was allied with the faction). So I headed into a gate and back to the previous sector, but then the clone ship reappeared next to me. I have no idea what's going on at this point. So I restarted my galaxy. After doing so, the cloned ship was still there. I ordered my ship to jump into the next sector but the cloned ship did not followed. I ordered the real ship to come back then tried again, but the cloned ship still stayed where it was. At this point, I don't want to risk a game-breaking event, so I deleted the cloned ship -- in one go without leaving the ship editor. Seems like I can edit and build normally. But upon deleting my ship, the real ship disappeared from the map!! Most stupid decision ever. I warped into the sector of my real ship's last know position and saw that the ship was still there, next to the gate! But all in all, it's no longer showing on the map. Or even in my fleet. I restarted the galaxy again, but while I was still in the real ship whose position disappeared from the map. After loading, the ship was still there and was back on the map! The only difference was that my Ship Reconstruction Crystal was missing for that ship and that my equipment was not the same. I just added 2 Exotic M-Turret Upgrade and XSTK-III after removing the Radar Upgrade, and my weapons are suspiciously lower grade. Oh well. I took the time to fix its setup. All I was doing are typical things and micromanagement, then stuff happens. So other than what I was doing and messing around with this cloned ship bug, I have no idea how to reproduce this. TL;DR Encountered a cloned ship after taking control of a ship that couldn't jump when the map showed it technically did and manually jumped into destination sector. 21. Here's yet another indecisive hauler, compared to my one-square-sized randomly generated mining ship. https://imgur.com/a/msRLPUz
  22. A merchant warped into my system with pirates on its tail and my ships wouldn't be able to reach the pirates in time before they wreck it and warp out. So I used a Hyperspace Interrupter that I found in secret stashes to stop them so that I can get them. But upon doing that, an invincible enemy named "Fidget" warped into my system and triggered a "boss fight." The bandits decided to fight my ships nonetheless after using the hyperspace blocker. After killing all the pirates, I now have to deal with Fidget. But just like all the comments he was gloating to me all the time, none of my weapons could hurt him; he just keeps blinking (teleport) all over the place. And there is no guide or in-game hint how to deal with him. But fortunately, I had another Hyperspace Interrupter in my inventory. According to the description, it said that it's an item capable of "Blocking Fidget's warp engine." So used it. But even after using it, Fidget still keeps teleporting and because that was my last Hyperspace Interrupter, there is NO way how I can kill Fidget with his blinking ability. So I gave up, and warped my combat ships out. What and who is "Fidget?" And is he and the "Hyperspace Interrupter" supposed to be working as intended? [EDIT] Shoot. I forgot to post my logs. I skimmed through my browser history and found the correct clientlog, but I'm unsure if the serverlog is correct: Clientlog: https://pastebin.com/G19Nvthn (expires in 1 month) Serverlog: https://pastebin.com/4QHfknpK (expires in 1 month)
