  1. I order my ship on the galaxy map to jump to some nearby sector.

The ship is getting ready to jump, it takes few seconds before the vessel warps to new location.

During those few seconds if you stack more jump order, the game will refuse to acknowledge those order and you will be right clicking on galaxy map with no result while holding shift.

After the ship jumps to new sector, you are are able to freely give more stacked orders with shift.

    Why is this important?

Example 1: Imagine that you send a vessel on an exploration mission to figure out those green beeping points on galaxy map, since you do not want to explore them yourself. You send the ship, you ignore the bug and wait until the vessel is at target location and the warp is on cooldown (thats when you actually can give stacked orders to the ship), you stack those exploration orders. Then you go back to doing your thing. You come back after 10 minutes and warp your main ship nearby the exploration vessel to scan for more of the green blips. You select your exploration ship on the galaxy map and you want to stack more orders. But! There is a problem, like the game again refuses to respond to the orders. The problem? Your ship is currently in a process of performing  a warp. This is time consuming and tedious.

Example 2: Imagine you ve got a mining ship. You do not want to waste much time on it. You select it and you order the ship to move to new mining sector, then you want it to mine there. How do you go about it? Well you order the ship to warp to that sector by right clicking it and then immediately after hold shift and select mining order. Done? Fast and easy? Nay! Because you need to wait for the ship to finish its warp and that takes few to dozen of seconds, only after it finished that can you give the mining order. This is a giant waste of time.

  2. I go to galaxy map and i want to look for trading posts to perform a trade.

I type in "trade" to look for those posts.

I lose the sight of my trading ship.

The fleet markers or search result markers need to be able to stack upon the other, else if there is a search result in a sector and one of my fleet ships is there, i am unable to tell from a glace whether the ship is in that sector.

    Why is it a problem?

If i search for something that's far more common in the galaxy, a lot of sectors will have a white marker over them. This will mask where my own ships are stationed.

    How it is now

  3. I have finished two Free Slaves quests. Both quests were picked up in the same sector. When i returned to sector i have received the reward for the first quest. But the second one was not finished, nor did i trigger any any reward dialog window upon closing down the first quest dialog.

To resolve this, i had to leave the sector and enter it again.

I suggest to either implement queue for reward events for the quests or restart the event that is responsible for checking if it should run reward dialogs, when one of the old dialog window is closed.

  4. I believe this is more of an UI designer issue.

The way it works is as you said. When i mirror an axis, then select a single block to inspect it, the other block that is a match on the other side of the mirror is also selected. Thus i cannot inspect a single element, because two are selected at once.

I had to use F1 and learn to use shift + Z/X/Y to work around this in a feasible time.

This issue i believe can be solved if the game displays information of the original target of selection, regardless of the amount of blocks selected.

In other words, the details of the LAST manually selected block should always be displayed.

  5. In 0.33.0

I am pretty sure that galactic pathfinding and map pathfinding are not linked, and that kind of sucks.

I order my fleet to "escort" me, i go to wormhole sector, they follow me next to the wormhole.

I enter wormhole. Fleet does not follow.

I go back through wormhole, they resume following me.

I create some distance and outrun the ships that follow me. I maneuver in such way that the wormhole is between me and the ships that are following me.

The ships actually enter the wormhole in this case and are catapulted to the other side, just like a player would have been moved.

This is A BUG. Why? Because after that i get insane spam of messages that the ships cannot find me. The spam never stops. That means the developers did not have in mind this. Which makes it a bug, not a trick.

EDIT: As to your statement that this is in 0.32 and 0.33. Yes there is such functionality. I need to explore the other sector beforehand though (the sector wormhole links to). Then i right click the that sector when i command my ships, of course the ships need to be inside the sector that contains the starting point (wormhole/gate). But this takes a lot of time if you have 20 ships and you want to move them all to the other side. Not only you need to break the "escort" order, but also in case the end point is at the other side of the galaxy, you need to take some good long time to scroll there and right click it. The right clicking may sound easy, but remember that you scroll the galaxy map by holding the right click, that in itself can sometimes wreck your intent and you need to start over by reselecting your fleet.

  6. I give an order to my cargo ship to refine ore from galaxy map, it does not work.

It does work when i give the order to  refine the ore AND i am in the same sector as the cargo ship.

UPDATE[0.33.0]: It would seem that the "Refine ore" button refuses to work but only when i give this order from galaxy map to my ship. It matters not if i am in the sector with the ship or not. It is very weird, because when i order this ship to "Refine ore" by using the F hotkey and selecting proper order, it works. Of course to give a direct order by selecting target ship and using F, i need to be in the same sector.

UPDATE[0.33.1]: I have done some more tests and tried some things. There is a workaround for this, albeit the bug still needs fixing.

This is how the problem looks like

    How to outsmart the bug?

Stack the refine order with shift

  7. This needs to be a thing.

If you've got problems implementing this, because you have problems with AI pathfinding their way to a gate/wormhole on a map, then its time to cut corners in the game and give the AI ships unique infinite warp function that allows them to target sector connected to the gate/wormhole which is linked to the gate/wormhole of the sector they are currently in.

When i take command of 20 ships, each with a different maximum warp distance and i have rifts blocking my way for like 100 sectors, then thats when i want to use a wormhole that i so painstakingly discovered.

  8. When i slide the sliders in shipyard's building tab, my PC freezes, this can happen a lot if i slide too much too fast. The lag takes a lot of time, up to few dozen seconds.

The preview of the ship needs to be generated upon clicking "apply" sort of button. Not upon changing the position of any of the two sliders (Scaling and Volume), else the game freezes, because the game generates too many previews too fast as the slider slides.

    Should look something like this

  9. This is one of the very first missions, i am to enter an empty sector and an enemy ship will spawn.

My task is to defeat that ship.

I defeated the ship, nothing happened, i still had the task.

    I left sector, nothing happened.

In the end i abandoned the quest.

I did not enter any other sector, so i am sure that the hostile ship spawned on first try.
