  1. The game has no reputation issue. The fact that you simply did not take an interest is that in your native system at the shipyard you can buy a ship with a captain and it may even be a simple cube exclusively for your problems, not games. Everything in the game is so simple that you don't even have to look for clues on the Internet. After 2 hours of play, as soon as I bought it, I already had 4 resource collectors with AI captains in my native system.
Buy yourself a cube with 1 captain at the shipyard in your home system and stop talking nonsense.

  2. 1) On the global map (key M) you can enter your ship by right-clicking on the sector in which the ship is located.

    2) If you have a Naonite, then when you enter your lost ship, go to the ship constructor (key B) and attach a hyperspace core to the ship (created from Naonite cubes)

    3) Where to leave the ships? Watch out for pirate attacks in the sector. Two or three attacks and you will know where they are attacking from. Move about 100-150 km away from their attack sites - PROFIT! 🙂

  3. When entering the tactical mode of the game (key F9) with a cyrellic layout of the keyboard, it is not possible to allocate several ships to give them group orders or organize into a group.

Error recurrence rate - Not regular.
Order of the user's actions before the error occurs:
-The Windows 7 x64 SP1 HP operating system must have a non-Latin keyboard layout enabled
    -Start the game
-Create a new game session or load a save.
-Enter tactical mode by pressing the key F9
    -Possible error options:
-> When trying to highlight ships, the frame does not highlight any
-> At pressing CTRL key and clicking with pointer on the ship itself (not icon) the ship is not selected.

N.B. No user-defined functions are set to CTRL in control.

A few questions on the tactical mode of the game (F9)

Please tell me how to highlight several of your ships in this mode? I've been in the selection frame, but only one ship remains. I also tried multileading by pressing the CTRL, SHIFT keys, as well as their combinations clicking on the list of ships, but this does not work. By selecting one ship, CTRL + 1... works and contributes one ship to group 1, but several ships cannot be credited to one group.  🤨 What am I doing wrong?

    Help me, please. 😟

I think the information I'll share will be useful to others. 👌

The problem was in the Cyrillic layout of the keyboard. As soon as I switched to English in the operating system, the multi-selection of ships in the tactical mode of the game began to work. I think to players who do not use the Latin alphabet, what I discovered will help. 🧩

Unfortunately, the multi-selection of ships on the list does not work. To add several ships to the group, you need to press the CTRL key and click directly on the ships in the tactical mode of the game or highlight them with a frame. :classic_happy:

  6. There are such factories, but most often they are generated in the territory where higher-level material is distributed. This is one of the mechanisms for slowing down the player's progress, so that he does not turn into a terminator too soon. Although of course you may be lucky and among the factions in the Naonite sectors you can find one in which such a factory is. 🙂

Hello everyone, I just came back to Avorion and this is something I need to voice up and I know many of the people who do pirate activities and boarding in general might recognize what I am talking about. Which is the impossibility to delete a damaged ship.

If a ship is too damaged to be of any use, (or simply transfer crew to a better ship) it should be our right to delete that ship in order to salvage it's resources as well as it's turrets, but mostly save time.

In addition, I believe that been unable to delete a damaged ship is an another feature that makes boarding such a chore. The player can repair the ship just enough to get to a scrapyard (if there is any nearby) and get rid of the ship there, but only for credits which is a little meh. Furthermore, the player can fully repair the ship then delete it, but lose money in the process which is the opposite outcome of boarding, which is gaining money/ressources.

Is the player forbidden to enter the editor of the ship and replace it? Also in the editor of the ship there is the possibility of repair, although it is more expensive in terms of resources than repair at space stations of the Doc type. In addition, you can enter the drone and lay a new ship with repair turrets (if you have them). You can build several escort ships with repair turrets and install them aboard the captain with the crew to indicate to them the repair of their ship. Maybe I didn't understand correctly because of Google translation, but now there are a lot of repair opportunities in the game. 😁
