  1. Behold.. the great Xsotan battle.. Pirate version.. I increased scaling and tripled the enemy turrets. Normally I have fought up to 150k hp pirates and up to 400k hp aliens in tech 35 area. Figured heck why not do the pirate spawn trigger and try a 40 / 50 / 8 out of a 100/100/25 difficulty/ Before I did a 40 / 75 / 10 facing 400k hp pirates before I modded. Well.. this time was slightly different. Lets just say.. I faced death itself... the whole sector faced death... my enemies became my allies and they died with honour! Xsotan's and other pirates tried to stop this mutation.. but they were all no match. It was a Bloodbath lmao!! My reaction... WHAT THE .. falls off chair And.. it just got intense lol For once I actually need their help! MOAR HELP! My computer is about to explode lmao Total Chaos! Attempting to take our their command ship lol The battle lasted over an hour.. the sector survived.. but they lost... alot. This would be insane in multiplayer haha The actual spawned enemies are decent fight.. but I better gear up before I breach that core! yikes! haha Also note my ship is a huge 9 upgrade slot ship.. these guys are HUGE! LOL
  2. I modded my xsotan and pirates to be bigger and tougher lol.. tech 35 area and fought some over 9000 omnicron and 300-400k hp. my 2mil hp shield took a beating from a large group lol
  3. So it seems the negative stats havent been fixed in latest patch? My Turret factory script never changed when the game updated. So I have just been fixing it myself with the stat percent thing. Also I been making turret factories not stupid powerful however can still produce very strong weapons at much more cost but finding / researching exotic / legendary that can possibly surpass turret factories is possible (hopefully) lol, some screens of this tech 35 factory with my changes. So far no more bazillion omnicron weapon cheating lol. Still some very good weapons, but was way to cheesy to get 4k dps lasers and just go build 40+ of them. Although thats a sweet Launcher but as you can see, would take quite a bit of work to go and mass that :) .. I didn't really touch launcher to much yet, trying to get a good feel for each weapon where a good balance would be for it by a turret factory to make it still worth making but not the holy grail of weapons. I also buffed Xsotan / pirates lol, use to fight 100k hp aliens at tech 35 area.. now a few so far were 350-400k hp, with triple the weapons. Hooraw! Edit: I think I know whats changed.. the crazy bonuses have been reduced. I am no longer getting crazy high bonuses on stuff, my salvage turrets I was going to build had crazy bonus to efficiency giving it 49%.. thats gone now and gets 39%. Perhaps this was the "fix" Edit2: I tinkered with launcher, now its 900.4dmg, 3.4 fire rate, 9.32 range. It started with very high base and is much superior to other launchers I am seeing at other factories. So this seems fair, its really costly anyways but is 3,061dps. The base to max increase was fair and not overpowered. Just the weapon itself was overpowered to begin with lol
  4. This update came at a funny time. I literally got off, made my kids food, came back after and wondered why my Q button wasn't selecting targets and then I thought.. wait this only happens when the game updates. Sure enough haha. Very awesome though! That damper block is awesome! Space balls LUDICROUS SPEED GO! To I order this ship to stop.. NOW! is now a reality! haha
  5. Ah! I knew it was something like that lol. But since update I've had no negative stat changes. However I will take a look to see how the factory was updated as I still have the old copy in another folder :)
  6. Hot dang Check this out. Found em to.. Not sure how it compares to turret factory stuff but these were well above my normal finds and was pretty sweet! Them bonuses! Highest rate fire bonuses and my top one yet I believe Used my found plasmas and made my first legendary. I like it.. Good shield damage. Not sure if turret factories can easily outdo these weapons at these tech levels but I do enjoy finding them lol

Been playing with this today myself, I've been reducing the potential of turret factories to not make stupid powerful turrets however still can make very good exceptional level stuff but exotic / legendary found stuff can be better so finding stuff is still an option and not ruined. I just dunno how to fix the problem where stats are decreased when you add more materials. That lame bug lol I'm also trying to figure out how to mod the dropped items to have more potential to them making good drops more desired
  8. Question, will forcing tougher enemies allow for better drops? This seems amazing so I want to try anyways lol Edit: yep.. best mod ever lmao. Can't wait for the alien version! Did a 75 / 35 / 5 and was fighting 400-500k hp enemies.. dropped tech 52 stuff! Was great! lol .. need to do this during a faction war and 25 enemies! haha!
  9. So... I made a nice big ship before this update.. had to load the heck out of it with directional thrusters.. sadly it ruined the design for the bottom lol. I hope it will be easier to achieve these kind of stats for the thrusters since I am quite happy with the control of my ship at these levels. But had to use ALOT of big directional thrusters lol I can atleast fly much easier now! .. Costed me 131,828 trinium, 492,669 xanion. Took awhile but finally bought it lol
  10. The game hasnt crashed at all now for awhile. But when it did it was very random. Simply turning the ship, moving around.. really anything it would suddenly lag spike and game stopped.. screen went black, back on quickly and game said not responding and shut down. It happen doing different things. I couldn't really do any steps to make it happen lol. But so far in last couple days I haven't had a single crash yet.
  11. um? every players galaxy map is generated differently, no game is the same. I am pretty sure the cords would be different for you then anyone else?
  12. blah all these ideas about limits grosses me out lol.. I like trying to get crazy high stats on a massive ship. We need to buff enemies.. not nerf us lol turret factories though are a garbage way to get strong very easily. It should be earned through tough battling. I say aliens bring on the capitals and lets have a massive war :) What I gather is what I like differs with others.. I want to build a massive super interceptor and fight super tough enemies in grand scale battles with us all zipping around like mad men. I hope I can mod my own game to allow for this. I love the "oh shit" moments lol.. warning, powerful aliens have appeared me: oh? and what are they like? OH MY GAWD 20 ships and a capital with 2 MILLION HP 20K OMICRON AND FLIES LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL? Me: ... BRING IT ONNNN! That is my kind of fun! Would totally make building a death star worth it

  14. I for sure need to play with directional thrusters more. I feel I did not do them right since I seem to always just get brake thrust with them and never rotational/ pitch etc. After seeing some threads I am going to take another stab at it.
  15. Go do insane. enemies will have 100% fire power against you.. and their HP / shields is fairly buffed. I am fighting 100k aliens.. however again I still want tougher more threatening enemies. Once I build my 400k xanion + 200k trilium ship, I will have over 2.7 million shield with upgrades and 400k hull. Would be sweet to have special events happen that spawned a wormhole and intense sized alien ships came through it to put up an intense fight lol Oh.. also refrain from building weapons from turret factories.. or else game just becomes a cakewalk. I am only using found stuff / researched from found stuff and sitting at 4.6k omicron. Game is much more fun like this I find. I only build mine turrets lol
  16. Can you mod aliens to be more challenging with tougher ships in intense mode or whatever the hardest mode is and also make the aliens weapon drops have potential to be better than turret factories? would be awesome lol
  17. yep exactly.. I wanted to use my latest design and said eff it.. slapped a bunch more thrusters.. changed the underneath.. so its atleast 0.8 in the pitch,roll etc. very tough to get high in this now without totally overloading ship in thrusters lol. But I loved the design I did not want to never use it. About 150k xanion to go! lol
  18. I just want to say.. please don't limit our creativity with not allowing big ships to turn and act like an interceptor. That is what I loved so much in 10.2.. I didn't feel restrained and limited to my creations.. only my resources were my limit. in 10.2 making a huge yet maneuverable actually was very costly. Because of the use of like 100+ thin slices, it became VERY costly and in a way that seemed like the trade off. If you wanted that, you had to pay up but you were not restricted to such a design. I hope this game really doesn't go to realism with huge ships never being maneuverable.. thats no fun lol. How can we get a PVP of battlestar interceptors going? My points of interest that I find the most enjoyable was + battling for loot (Not making it with turret factories except miners) + Exploring + Fighting tougher enemies / having bigger events happen + Building ships + Building awesome superships even though the cost was ALOT.. gave me goals to save up for it. I enjoyed that a lot.. felt like reaching a milestone I have hopes for the future as we all know the Dev working very hard, just never forget FUN, screw realism lol.. its not a SIM. BTW the 180 flip burn is pretty sweet lol
  19. What I found in 10.2 building big ships to make it move very effectively actually costed quite a lot to do. I really thought it was pretty balanced like that. My 10.2 ship costed me like 800k minerals because of the thin slices adding up lol. I understand it may seem to not make sense but again.. we are using blocks to build ships, I do not wish to see this game go if you want to make a massive battlestar, forget about it ever moving around. That takes away the whole creative and fun aspect. If I mined up and spent 100's of hours just to build that 1 titanic battlestar of a ship that I could fly around like an interceptor.. heck why not. I really loved that. During pvp this could be intense stuff lol. I don't care about G-force.. or anything realism.. I want to build awesome ships and conquer the galaxy! That being said.. the 180 flip and burn is fantastic in 10.4 lol

  21. Currently it takes an enormous amount of thruster space to get even 0.8 points. Trying to find a volume / area that works best is pretty hard, you still end up with a ton of thruster space being used on a ship. Thrusters got nerfed hard from 10.3 also.. my 1-1.2 went to 0.3. So anyone playing 10.2 with full 2.0 rad.. probably drop to 0.1-0.2 by 10.4 lol Personally.. I don't care much for realism of massive ship being like an interceptor.. honestly it was pretty fun lol. We are making ships from blocks.. we should be able to make huge ships that are also great at moving around if we can afford it. It's a lot of fun for me personally. Let other space games act like big ships are suppose to be sluggish, let this game allow for creation without frustration :)
  22. Found this. Sadly burst fire / overheats ruined it.. otherwise it was over 2k dps lol .. always with negative bonuses with found stuff.
  23. I am noticing a big problem fighting AI ships.. they seem to be flying all over the place lol.. barely able to shoot at me even when I am still. They seem to be having a very hard time turning, not always but some bigger ships seem to.
