  1. I agree, i was about to open a suggestion about it. A toggle on/off thrusters would be enough i think. On would be like now, off would be manual only.

  3. I've jumped in a random sector just to explore, like i did already a lot, i love this part of the game. Now i'm stuck. I don't have any weapon, and the jammer seems to be attached to a pirate ship, member of a pack of 3 ships. I outrun them, but then what ? edit : yes it's a ship, Hyperspace Blocker, with a Headhunter and something else... 350+ km and growing between us, if i stop they come closer. It seems i'm stuck for good until patch. Am i ?
  4. Yep, but i just want an option to change "keep pressed" behavior, not to get some special gears. The turrets, and variable, are doing exactly what i want, only my finger disagree.
  5. Hello, Would be nice to be able to switch turrets On/Off when mining and salvaging, instead of having to keep the button pressed. Some targets can be huge and it's painfull for my finger to keep the button pushed. Thanks for reading
  6. Hello, When trading with some stations, i had tooltips from goods under the UI. When doing it with other stations, it was fine. I will try to reproduce it and screenshot next time it happens.
  7. Why not letting us rotate engines too, at least front/rear if not all 6 directions.
  8. I think i can do that already, i need to check ingame but i'm pretty sure i can. edit : yes i can I can move in all directions with keyboard.
  9. I played again some more Avorion, and i like the general feeling of it, however something was always bothering me without really finding what. I think i just found it was the lack of interior, and building ships with full blocks, instead of "walls". I know it comes because of my habit with several other games, and Avorion is not them, but still, it has a strong impact of my general feelings. I guess at this point there is no chance to have interiors with "walls focus building", and i need to adapt ?
  10. I do the same in game alike (Starmade, From the Depth...), but i usually stop the process at step 2 or 3, haha...
  11. I'd say the same weapon, fixed, should have longer range, lesser power need, but lesser rate of fire, over a mobile turret. Good job so far with the pacing and content of the updates.
  12. Would be nice to have to think more in the building process, with "walls" blocking thrusters. Right now my thrusters form a "spine" in the middle of my ship.
  13. So if i understand well, it means a "long" 1x20 engine (a tube with the burning part being 1x1), is as effective as as "thin" 4x5 engine (a flat ass with a 4x5 burning part), and as effective as two 1x10 tubes engines ?
  14. I tried ingame and didn't see difference, just to be sure : if i build an engine, a cargo bay, or whatever, is it the same result to have one single big block, and several smaller ones, if the final volume is the same ?

  16. Hello, What about a Camera Block ? You can place as many as you want, and rotate them. When you press the "camera" key, your view moves to the camera. The game doesn't do anything else differently, only switchs the point of view. This way, you can buid big ships with weird shape, and have a good view from the lefl wing, the top of the ahtenna, the back cabine... Right now, my modest 20 blocks long ships feels clunky because of camera default's placement.

  18. Hello, After mining, i have to fly around to catch all the small floating parts. I really don't like it, in my opinion it adds no fun at all, and the mined material should be automatically added to my cargo instead while i'm mining. This or make the "magnet" effect at least 10 times stronger. Any one else agree ?
  19. Oh sorry, i didn't say this part. Yes, i can bind it, and it shows "unknown". I can then use it ingame for boosters, or whatever.

  21. Hello, My Space key is doing nothing. When i first launch the game, i created a solo game with all default options, seed, name..., then a screen said to press Sace to continue. Nothing, i had to Alt+F4 then relaunch the game where i could find my world. Then i can double click its name and play. Ingame, Space is not active neither, no boost. In options, Space is defined. I'm not a so standard user : Linux, french system, and TypeMatrix keyboard, default bépo layout, but i switch to the USA stantard qwerty layout for most games (and i have no problem). Linux Mint 18 64bits Xfce Kernel 4.4xx Intel Core i5 4590 (4 x 3,3 GHz) MSI GeForce GTX 960 @ 2 Go Drivers NVIDIA 370.28 8 Go DIMM DDR3 PC12800 Screen LED 1920x1080 French system with a bépo keyboard
  22. I'd like to know if the buildind system is limited, or if the community is really small, or both, or something else.
