  1. With all the goodies hidden inside asteroid fields, impact damage is definitely the challenge.

     

    It is there for the reason. You need a challenge. It is always pilot error. Shields do not absorb damage from impact. That's life and why armor was put in the game.

     

    It's also the reason why my current ship is named "Learn2Fly"

  2. I even just got "Do a barrel roll with your fully functional battleship" without claiming a killed pirate achievement. Somehow I think that would be an even harder achievement....

  3. They are focusing on the main game. I see absolutely no reason they should waste time on a demo when the real thing will be live soon. 99% of games out these days don't even have demos!

     

    And if I recall correctly, even the demo was pretty well put together, if not a bit buggy.

     

    It seems that everyone who claims "just bad marketing" doesn't know marketing these days.

     

    I don't speak for the developers, but I do support the decisions they've made.

  4. Other than that I'm good.  Only nagging issue is AI ships and shipyard ships are generated with no power source of any kind even solar-panels. O_o  That said the taste we got not is good but it feels too "Cut Off". Not sure how else to describe it.

     

    That's why it's called a demo. Let them focus on the main game. Forget the demo entirely. Once fully released no steam games really have demos. You go off the cinematics (which look killer already) and the reviews.

     

    Asking for a bigger demo will only delay the full release.
