  9. Yeah, we do sometimes answer to threads like this. Though, not as often as we like :) What you said here sounds quite good, a lot of it is actually on our todo-list. As Ulrich_Rüstungjäger pointed out there is a Roadmap that contains the "will absolutely be implemented" features. I don't know if we really ever will do the second-run through, maybe that comes when we progress the story a bit more.
  10. Can you post your and your friends client log as well? It would help us to know what the client does in this case.

Otherwise just fill in your email address and we will drop you an email with questions/requests for more information.
  14. This is actually not really a bug. We implemented it so that in case the server crashes, a player wouldn't lose everything. So sometimes you luck out and have your ship duplicated ;)
  15. On which version are you playing? Does the script show the right values when you load into the sector, or remove and readd the module?
  16. No, the fighters don't utilize shields (or thrusters) you build while designing, as they stripped of these during the fighter production. The reason is simply that the devs thought the fighters would be overpowered if they used shields.
  17. The invisible parts (of ship or asteroid origin) are already fixed and will be uploaded with the next patch :)

  20. The trouble with Avorion is that it calculates a lot of physics, which is why we currently would not encourage to build a server with more than 15 people online at any one time. The next update will bring a lot of performance optimizations that hopefully will make bigger servers possible. We will try to optimize even further. But having ships that are blockwise destructible and differently shaped means a lot of calculation has to go on in fights.
  21. You can set the monitor to use in the launch options of Avorion. Go to the Avorion properties and type "--display 1" in the field at the launch options to start the game on your second monitor.
  22. This is actually really cool 8) That video gave us a good hearty laugh, sad that we need to do something about that. Someone using that pvp would be really bad.
  23. With the alliance update there will come a preview of the costs of the ship either flat cost or relative to your current ship. The stats are not included as we thought it would clutter the preview window too much. How would you go about showing them? Or would you rather just have a less detailed stat break-down for the preview? Or do you think Avorion needs an entirely different preview window?
