  1. You might have to much stuff different stuff on your ship. If you try the beta it might work, but that is just a guess.

Try to build a second ship and transfer some of the cargo you want to sell to it. Then use the other ship to sell the stuff. That could be a workaround for now.

  2. The AI should respawn in the circle around the center where it usually spawns as well. Just keep looking in the empty sectors in a distance of 295 to 315 around the center. If you leave a sector where the AI spawned it will despawn, therefore a save would have basically no value for you.

  3. You could use something like Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc and upload the galaxy from the %Appdata%/Avorion/galaxies/ folder. Then you should be able to just download them on the other PC and put them back under the same path.

Be advised that savefiles can get quite big. Thus, if your connection is not very fast, it might take a long time to upload. Then you should use a USB-Stick or similar.

  4. Have you tried to play the beta version? Docks should regrow over time there.

But keep in mind that the beta is experimental, especially the flight mechanics.

  5. If you have the logs then please post them. That will make the process of finding the issue easier for the devs.

The server logs would be the most important ones in this case, but it probably won't hurt if you also post the client logs.

You can find instructions on how to get the logs in the sticky post at the top.

  6. When you start a new galaxy there is a option to choose the difficulty. Higher settings will mostly affect the damage dealt by enemies. On normal settings the damage you receive is scaled down a lot.

If you want to change the difficulty for your current galaxy you will have to edit the files.

Edit: Also moved to the general gameplay discussion forum, as it was not directly related to the beta branch.

  7. If I remember correctly, it is a result of the history of the Windows operating system.

Before Vista(?) there was no My Games folder and thus a lot of games, especially AAA ones, have been polluting the My Documents folder. In general, they all do whatever they want and don't care about specifications.

But, it does appear that Appdata is the place specified by Microsoft to store data.

    Per the .Net documentation:

    UserProfile

The user's profile folder. Applications should not create files or folders at this level; they should put their data under the locations referred to by ApplicationData.

  8. You could use the tool to select blocks by drawing a frame around them.

Alternatively, if you click on the merge block button, it should try to merge everything as good as possible. If the thrusters are connected, you would end up with a lot less blocks.

Edit: I have fixed your image to show up in the post :)

  9. Moved to the bugs section. It would be probably very helpful if you could add the logs. If they are too long, its probably best to get the beginning of the log and a part starting a bit before the error and includes the error itself.
