I think with cepheni there is someone that can and will keep an eye on all the awesome mods. I also agree with douglas' comment.
So in my opinion there is no mod contest required. Especially considering that the number of contestants would be relatively small for now.
A thing which might be better suited would be creative contests. Everyone can build ships or stations and that would open such a thing to a broader group.
This is a completely different thing from the one you suggested, but organizing something like this has been on my mind for some time. Maybe I can make something happen :)

As doug said, there is the one corner block, which is basically a quarter pyramid. Just place one of them and rotate the second one accordingly.

It is really hard to understand what you are trying to say, in my opinion. Could you please try to rephrase it?

Have you set the game to use the Nvidia GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel?
You might want to try to uninstall and then to reinstall the Nvidia drivers or try an older version if you have updated them very recently.
Also are you certain that there are no logs? I am pretty sure the game creates them on startup and writes to the files over the complete runtime, not only after a crash.
You will find them as described in the sticky post in this forum.

Allright guys, there is no need to respond with insults on RenegadeKraken.
Trying to blackmail us to get a separate forum for videos is just wrong and will not be tolerated. I don't get why you did not post a suggestion for this in the first place.
That said, being mean in return is not a way to deal with this.
You should rather share the videos with your own friends. Show them the great content the people on here produce and ask them to leave a nice comment and/or a thumbs up, if they like it as well :)

They DO belong here. And telling people do downvote the videos, just because you don't think they belong here, is just wrong.
Consider this a warning.
If you think something does not belong on this forum, then why don't you just report it and let us decide? There is no need to be hostile towards other people.
We are here to have a friendly chat with other people and share our experience with the game, so be nice and supportive. If you have criticism, make it constructive. We don't need hostility in here :)

The topics of your suggestions come up a lot.
Part 1 is very often suggested and surely recognized by a dev, although I dont have a source right now.
Part 2: Thrusters are being actively reworked at the moment and there is at least one big thread already discussing thrusters you might want to read. But keep in mind that things might change soon.

You can try to look for them if you zoom out and enter the strategy mode. That should make the modules and turrets more visible, at least in my experience. Especially since you can move around relatively quickly using that perspective.
