I tried it by moving the two sector files into a different folder, the missing sector has been recreated, but the game still crashes after a while loading. Funky :-\
Would it be of any use, if I'd upload the sector files somewhere? Or any other files?
Any other options?
Quite frustrating, I just reached the core and went back to lick my wounds and then this, the utter antithesis of immersion^^

I have the funny feeling it has something do do with my 'large' player file in that galaxy, which is now more than 4MB
That part up there is the main reason for this to happen.
Because the same exact thing happened to me yesterday. I reached the core, fought the guardian, got exhausted after an hour battle with my relatively small ship. I parked to the next sector, logged out to take a break with the sweet victory and tons of loot. When i came back like an hour or two later, i couldnt load the galaxy. Game just kept freezing and freezing. Somehow dunno how i managed to get the galaxy loaded for the last time, i played for couple hours jumped around alot. Made it back to the closest allied faction, did some trading. Now i cant even get the game freeze anymore, it just shuts down the game completely. Any other galaxies work fine, but the one i just defeated the guardian.
Devs should look into this, please hear us guys. We have soooo much time invested into our galaxies.
Rescue us please :( :'( :'(
Ps: i did some messing around. I cross loaded player.dat files and sectors with different galaxies. Everything works just fine, sectors load, player datas load(except the ships). But when it comes to my main galaxy the data and sectors combined, game crashes. Dunno if this helps at all.
