Is it only possible to set the server password via server.ini in the galaxy folder? No cmdline arg?

This is a known bug, Koonschi is looking into it.

For now sure way is to connect directly to the IP like you already found out.

Hi!

 

I'm currently implementing the dedicated server for Linux into our gameserver hosting system. So far it works, but I had to change to beta branch for bind to IP feature (--ip).

 

After I downloaded the beta client via Steam, I can find my test server in the ingame server browser, but when I try to connect, I get an error message about wrong version (client: 0.10.4, server: 0.10.2).

 

Nevertheless, I can directly connect to the server using the IP without any problems.

 

Is this a known issue? Is there some workaround?
