    I'm honoured my tiny mod was included, but it's indeed kinda redundant since last patch as you just have to run 20 km away to not get blocked anyway. :D
  2. It's further away than halfway, between distance of 280 and 340. As for script, if in C:\Program Files x86\steamapps\common\Avorion\data\scripts\player\story\spawnai.lua you change line 29 if math.random() < 0.05 or consecutiveJumps > 8 then to if math.random() < 2 or consecutiveJumps > -1 then it should spawn immediately when you enter a valid system. Note: that means it'll spawn every time you do that though :V
  3. Yes, there are in hidden mass systems all around the core barrier (for exactly that reason :P ). Just jump a bit further along the wall and you'll run into another eventually

  9. Thanks ;D Unless google images lied to me it's actually a Kushan one :V Workshop support is planned. And, you can kinda do that with a text editor - use replace all on e.g. material="0" to e.g. material="1" to change iron into titanium, save as, and then apply that plan. Of course, has the problem that not all blocks exist in all materials - ones that don't get converted to hull by the game. Still, easier than an entire rebuild.
  10. That's what you're supposed to do, yes, as rock blocks are immune to electricity weapons. Or you build a battlecruiser with 255K shields and tank it. That works too. :V

  12. There's more on the wiki, yes. In this case I'm very sure you need to jump into hidden mass systems (not empty ones) between 150 and 240 distance to the core. In some of them, a MAD Energy Research satellite will be floating (often in an asteroid fields, but it's easy to find, blinks on the map iirc), which you can destroy for an upgrade. After you destroyed four of those, the Lab will show up.
  13. Well, some weapons have a slight chance of bypassing shields. Generally only a couple percent, not really useful

  16. Travel further inward towards the core. Use the scanner module to find hidden systems with stuff (be wary of pirates tho). Use jumpgates, guaranteed trip to another system with stuff. Kill pirates for loot. etc etc
  17. Might be related to this issue I found? I had somethung similar, in that I couldn't buy any resources from a resource depot, and both stock and price fields were empty.

  19. While roaming the core, I've come across a number of systems that were supposed to have somethiing goung in them but didn't. While accidentally activating the console in one of them, I noticed it was throwing this error: Index something is already taken [C]:-1: in function getNearestFaction() Checked afterwards, and this seems to consistently be the cause of empty sectors where something (in one case even a rescue mission) was supposed to be.

  21. You need to hire commanders (and captains) directly, they can't be crewmen. But you don't need a commander to hire a captain and let ai pilot the ship :S Fighters can be bought in those docks (under "buy fighters"), but you might need to get closer to the core

  23. Higher material turrets are bigger. e.g. here the large turrets are Avorion and the smaller ones Xanion, and iron ones would be really tiny
  24. You can kind of doing that by adding a turret upgrade to allow you to put more turrets on, then removing it. Of course, if you have a turret upgrade it would be silly not to use it :V
