I build a ship with the new system. It's not much as the nibble crap but the movement when steering around asteroids was much more fun like vipers in BSG style. Dev clearly says that was not what he wanted and I respect that just not my style.

Not a fan of the new system. Would not mind more of an arcade version but besides that not a fan at all. Doubt I will play for much longer with the new system.

As topic states oddly enough I have never gotten my online count to work / show up via the public list but it will show up with Direct IP.

If you delete your player data file, everything you had is gone. In the beta branch you can try to delete the index file and the server will then, upon restart, reconstruct it. This could help. If the server owner deleted your actual file then yes, your progress is gone. Don't delete player files.
Just confirming I should delete my index file?

L2p Kane, we will be laughing furiously at your gameplay meanwhile :-D maybe try building some new ugly but functional ship, that might be fun jn new version, and educational for lot of players.
Well since everyone on our server seems pissed with the sliding around I kind of hope they might be adjusted a bit more so they have great handling but less sliding.

so i had issues with your mod specifically it would prevent the creation of the starting sector. A quick edit fixed this by going into
data\scripts\lib\SectorGenerator.lua
and moving the lines the following lines from the middle of a function to the top with the rest of the require and package.path
package.path = package.path .. ";modfiles/scripts/?.lua"
require("hooks")
nvm it was something else but idk how moving 2 lines of code fixed it for a bit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Was this another mod or something else btw? Be good to know there is no issues :)

Well then it's not realistic is it ;) So give us our cheated thrusters lol. If it was Real Life you would have insane guidance systems to hand hold you the entire way :P This is a video game after all :P So let's not over complicate thrusters too much since we don't have complex systems to utilize them to their best.

I hope the developer highly considers ignoring PvP Balance anything. This game was suppose to be a Co-Op Game not eve online.

i would say that if this is to be "fixed", then it should be fixed as a game mode.
OR Thrusters get about a 1000% bonus.

But to dodge them you need decent thrusters ;)

If this gets fixed half the players quit :P Thrusters are already like 1/3 to half of a ship. The game is Thruster Simulator :P
