[Make game run all galaxy at once [SpatialOS]]

few weeks i heard about SpatialOS it would let run like 100 instances or more as a single server and would make possible to run all galaxy simultaneously.

 

would game would able to run like this or on this kind of servers?

hope never :) im there for couple month. i gues its never was wiped. i like it. sure its harder to play. coz asteroids are taken by other players. they should be reclaimed every month or so.

 

btw. beta server is off few days :( no one can connect. its just show online

just quick review on current situation. Do not know if Dev`s tracking forum.

 

test server [official avorion beta branch] are ping`able

but avorion service seems to be down/freezed

i can see server by IP address. shows 5/15 players. but actually there 0 players for few days.

I swe that game has huge potential in multiplayer. But if its eats server resource so easly then what server need for like 2000 gamers? :) i counted that that much needed minimum that galaxy was lively. O single player game will will become boring when u reach center and do missions. Multiplayer extend it for a very long time. And i know its expensive there should be an options for loging in with seperate username and pass. Then for support of big server can take monthly payment.

 

Still i waiting and hoping for mp for this game
