  1. I would raise other issue, right now you can create mining ships and have them roam on the asteroid fields mining, but, even if you equip the ship with salvaging lasers only, they will not salvage. A salvage order would be nice too. The only use I can find for them right now is to pick up the metal and system/turrets that came from my salvaging :)
  2. I'm clueless, but can tell you that I have gotten a quest to deliver the Suspicious goods to a time-rip zone too, I had t abandon the quest there. Next one I made just got nothing from the quest though. but I guess I asked to much for the money instead :p
  3. I found the same issue yesterday, I had such good raided bought cargo to deliver to a station but no port on it, I guess I have to find a new one then. :)
  4. Hi there So, I was at the research lab and I noticed one thing. there is a great lack of information. I know from travellers talk that I can put in 3 or 5 items to get one new, but this information, as well what you might get when you insert objects on the "lab tubes" would be usefull information. Also, and more importantly, the list of systems/turrets you can pick and drag, is a complete mess. I don't know if they are ordered, the thing is, when you have hundreds of turrets and systems, even if you know what you want to throw in, you waste so much time just searching for them in the list. So I would suggest you add a form of sorting the list you have in the research lab. Talking about sorting and searching items in inventory (or even in build menu), I would also be a great addition to the game if we could pick different viewing styles. Right now we have this big thumbnails we have to put our cursor over to display the properties, but would be great if we could change, if we see fit, to detailed list mode (a bit like in windows explorer) where we could see the properties of the turret or system and quickly compare them to others, without having to move the mouse all over the place and memorize things. Also, filters would be a great addition, like, "Show only X type", or "show only >X omicrons". Talking about omicrons, this information could also be displayed in the turret thumbnail too. This would make life easier to chose your turrets and system to place them in a ship, because once you get +300 of them, things get difficult to handle
  5. when I have the time, i'll create a new galaxy and on it try to recreate the error. it looks like a issue with hyperdriving to many times with a fleet. if I can do it, I'll send you the galaxy
  6. "EDIT": After trying two time, I finaly got the galaxy to load again, but the behavior was wierd at best. First I loaded the galaxy. I load at the command of the ship from which I said the others to escort me. All other ship look ok. Secondly, there are Xsotan on the sector, so, I open the build menu, place turrets for combat, and go for them. But, as soon one of my shots hit the enenmy ship, a cascade of error windows pop down (but closing almost immediately) and the Xsotan ships not only ignore me, but my weapons do no damage to them. So, I decide to exit galaxy, and enter again. did all the same, and the result was the same. On the third time I loaded the galaxy, I just ignored the xsotans and said all the other ships to escort me. they did not move, but, hyperdrived to the sector I hyperdrived with my main ship. Once I got there, the same phenomena as described above happened, and this time I got a pic of the "star/light" ships: I ignored this and hyperdrived again. Once in the new sector, all ships were "ok". I say "ok" because had the right shape, but were not complying with the orders (mining). also, when Transferred control to one of these ships, and by using the mouse steering, they would not move. looked more as if they were moving the view only (even the keys) To have them re-using the mouse steering properly I had to: Enter ship > Shift to keyboard steering > press shift to reset view > shift back to mouse steering. It would then work well. Also, as soon I leave the ship (to drone for example) they would resume the orders I gave them earlier. Did this with 3 ships, all successfully. Right now, all looks ok and I've resumed playing with no further incidents. Ships
  7. as a work around make your fighting ship cargo-less and your cargo ship weaponless :)
  8. Similar thing just happned to me now, regarding the AI-port over sectors thing, but: Actions Leading Up To Behavior I had these ships before, equiped, with systems and turrets, crew and captain. They were doing mining services for a long time (some days ago) already on 2 sectors, no issue. I deicide to move sector, to the newly fresh founded station sector. So: at the last jump, 2 of the 3 ships that I had following me started to behave very strangely, namely, started to spin very fast and uncontrollable. this only happened when they had to move to get close to me. the third one didn't move and was ok. After a brief moment, they turned into balls of light (like a small light on ship +/-, should have taken a Screenshot :\). Then I tried to move into one of the ships to used the Build command and see if I could fix it. game froze then and I could not do anything else. Now when I try to lead that galaxy, game freezes too. No problem :) forgive me for not been clear the first time :\ Small issue I found now: 1: entered a sector for first time, 2: smuggler post generated on that sector, with a smuggler ship next to it. 3: interacted with it and got a suspicious cargo to deliver within a hour 4: moved in the direction of that sector but~... 5: indicated sector is unreachable (see picture attached) Is this supposed? or am I missing something here?
  10. ahah, overkill, yes, ultra kill I would say :P I can't remember the last time I mined something, as I have a fleet of small ships to do it for me, so usually I only need to update the turrets on my main ship when I get better ones :p so, I don't have that kind of issue. But like you said, everyone plays as he wishes, after all, is a sandox game :p best, GnL
  11. I guess is better visualized than texted. I could reproduce the first bug, the second I failed to do so. maybe a one time thing :\ On the other hand, a bug with the windowed mode is shown as well.
  12. you mine with 24 turrets??? Anyway, you know that you can create selection groups on turrets and toggle them off and on, so you can have 12 turrets, for mining, signed to group 1 and armed turrets in group 2. regarding the removing turrets on "repair" I've missed that feature yes, but on when on repair, should be something apart, because it is also frustrating placing the turrets again every-time you repair. specially combat ones, where I have to pick which ones I want, all over again, so on that field was a good change too. and again... 24 turrets?? :o :p
  13. How do these really work? I have hired some crew to board other ships to take them(?), but then, I got a ship disabled (no armed turrets so it could shot back) and got to 0km of him and tried to interact with it, nothing. is something else needed? how do you do it? Thanks for the help.

  15. Sure, sorry for not being detailed enough. This ain't a bug necessary, but more an inaccuracy. If my ship is holding cargo, lets say full cargo, and for some reason, one of my block on the ship gets destroyed (usually because I crash against a station while trying to dock), and even if that block is not a cargo block, and is (as usually is) a thruster block, I get cargo being dumped out because of that. Other example of this is when attacking a cargo ship, I can get cargo out of Engine blocks, and not only when I target and destroy cargo bay blocks. I think it would be more accurate that the cargo was only on the cargo blocks themselves and only if those got destroyed cargo would be released to space. I made my cargo ship with one single huge cargo block thinking just that, bigger equals more hp/sturdier and harder to destroy and lose the cargo, but all it takes to lose cargo is to lose a small thruster block. The thing was I had a mission (a deliver mission from a trading post), and I still had like 7 minutes to fulfil it. But, as I had visited many sectors in a very short time frame, many with portals and so, the game was getting a bit lagging, because there were too many sectors load (or so I though), so I decided to exit the galaxy, but not the game, and enter again. although it token a bit to do so, it was clearly under the 7 minutes mark. The lag went away for sure, but also did the mission. I still have the load I had to deliver, but no mission in the player menu and when I get to the sector, no message telling me what station should I deliver the goods too neither. just lost my credits until I sell the cargo elsewhere. Also, a small suggestion that I though of now. When using the trading system, you can see, if you have a rare or above system, possible lucrative trade routes. awesome thing, but, it ignores your diplomacy. That is, it can show you routes you cannot do, because of your relations to one or both station is really bad. maybe a warning or making it not show these altogether could be a good idea. Best, GnL
  16. here I come with another list: - In sector, while using the trading system, that allows you to see prices, stations etc etc, the Habitat station is not showing up on the list. - Sometimes, during the Xzotan ship event, it says " a allien Ship has appeared" or something like that, but, despite the sentence refers to a single ship, multiple ships appear. - When dumping cargo, the cargo is dumped, but, the line on the ship menu remains, unless you exit and enter ship menu. it shows 0 cargo. - Whenever you are docked to a station that produces goods, if you are typing how much of a given good you want to buy/sell, and a cycle of production has ended, the number you inserted in the buy/sell resets to 0. - not necessary a bug, but something not so right. if you are flying a cargo ship and you crash into something, even though you lost a small block, not related to cargo block (thruster for example) you lose a lot of cargo (like a 1/5th). This could see some revision I thing, as it is not very realistic. cargo should be only lost when the cargo blocks are destroyed and should be proportional to its size. - exiting and entering the galaxy, made the mission I was doing expire, although I did it within the time requirements. - also not really a bug, but would be possible to see stations (AI sector owned) get repaired over time. I have a few who lost all dock blocks and cant trade with them anymore. GnL
  17. Small typo from me there, I mean the "saved ships" yes, and I meant to not (and not now) save automaticaly the ships. the naming right now can only be done by going to the %appdata% folder and changing the name there, right?
  18. So, right now, if you select a block, you have a little window with type, material and size of that block. It would also be great to have this for the block you are currently building (the one as green ghost), specially the size. Second, it would also be nice to be able to replace a block, without deleting. so, if I have a iron crew quarters block, stuck in the middle of the ship, I could replace it without deleting it (or maybe others) to change it for a titanium cargo bay block for instance. Also, one nice addition would be a "hide block" feature, so we could select and change blocks inside the ship, without needing to delete blocks around it to access it. Finally, on ship templates, it would be nice the be able to name the ship templates, sort them in the list, and have the option to now automatically save the ship template.   19. About the crews, you hire them, you don't train them, as far as I know. Don't worry, took me some time to find out too :p So far I have the same experience as you, for battle, no need to big super destroyers or so, My ship has 5k hp +1k shied, and with its 1300 omicrons I am comfortable in any situation where I am facing ships of my material level or one above, if not overly outnumbered. The only reason to build big ships, is cargo. In cargo ships size does matter, although not so much as before due to new ship systems. So far I have killed a boss, easy thing :p I am on the process of making credits to found stations/factories / mines so I can test the system and search for bugs, which is the thing I've being doing mostly lately :) Smugglers are a nice thing, and, I have found a pirate shipyard and destroyed it :D as long several modest pirate fleets spawned to protect it :P
  20. yes, it is. all you have to do is go to P (ship menu) and in the first tab, select the turret and press a num key (1, 2, 3...) and that turret is assigned to that number. you can use those numbers to toggle on and off the turrets then.
  21. yes, the reward is given ;) Now, weird one just happened to me and it saddens me, as it costed me a good ship with really good system upgrades/weapons :( :( Let me try to reproduce it: I had two ships, a all-purpose ship and a cargo ship. was in a sector with portals to other. Said my all-purpose, who had a captain, to escort me (while at the cargo ship). moved though a portal, waited a bit, all ok, both ships cross. Other ship still is following me when I move my ship and then I go to other portal. once I get to the other side, I miss press the T key and leave my ship unintentionally (wanted to press R to select the closest enemy). I select my cargo ship and press T. I may have press T more than once I think. And then it happened. There is a lot of pop up windows, tilling one over the other, very fast, but closing almost as fast as they open, so I could not read nothing at all, only see the "trail" of them opening and closing. The game minimizes in the process and I am at my desktop. But the game didn't crash, so I open it up again and try to enter the cargo ship. nothing happens. So I decide to exit and enter the galaxy again. when I do that, I return in my drone in the home sector of the faction I am ally to and was at that moment. and no sign of both ships on radar. I return to that sector and upon arriving to it the cargo ship is there, and I go to it and T'ed it and entered it. Then I went back to the sector were my all-purpose ship supposedly was, and nothing. I've entered all 3 sectors involved by portal and by hiperdrive and nothing, the ship disappeared into thin air :( nevertheless, I give you the best description of the error, I hope you can figure out what is wrong. if you need anything else, please, ask.
