  1. on a "continuous" way, yes, as long you are on the other side of the gate, the other section in loaded in memory and being simulated. once you leave to other sector, the last sector you were in and, the sectors which were connected to it via gates/wormholes, will "live" for 5 minutes, after which they cease to be simulated. once no simulation occurs, your ship is safe from any hostile AI units. But I have a small questions, what about chains of sectors linked with portals? like A - B - C, If I am in A, only B is loaded or will B and C be? I guess that is only B, but I would like to hear from Koonschi
  2. similar thing happened to me, I have 2 missions that displayed mission failed although they gave me the reward. latest one I did (deliver some silver from a mising station to a resource station) said "mission succeeded" (or something like that). but always, rewards are alaways given. and welcome to the +1,000,000 club :p
  3. bringing ammunition (33 of them) to a military outpost. But I think it is not the first time that it happens, tomorrow I'll try to do some more missions and see if it happens again too.
  4. Ok, maybe I had misread or something. Anyway, another "small" bug. Upon mission completion, I receive the credit reward but in screen says Mission Failed instead.
  5. alright. but then, why the station said I had not enough space for the mission? have you checked that part too? :)
  6. If I'm not mistaken, you can't mine with higher materials with low level gear, you can only mine +1 your material and bellow only. you have that already, miners, that operate mining turrets. This would also hurt alot whose you mine without going afk. mining is, probably the most boring part of the game I think, doing it like so, would kill it. I think the "i'm on the sector, they're mining, i'm not, they are not" system is ok. you can easily stay in that sector because: 1) defend it against pirates 2) you can also be mining (doubling the speed of mining) 3) you can be doing some trading, 4) you can be ship/station building. and I believe you could go on. I think it is fine as it is.

Sorry for the triple post, but was afraid you wound't notice if I have edited it instead :-[ So, first turret factory mistake: In the drop list menu you can chose from exotic, but it displays a exceptional item. secondly, on the systems: So, what happens is as follows. I have no system installed (for cargo) and then install the cargo system you can see in the pic. after that I check on the data and no change. only when I select a station and interact with it (F) i have the info updated. but, even then, if I try to take a mission that requires cargo space, and my base cargo space does not fullfill the requirements, and I insert this to meet it, it says I don't have enough anyway. happens with both absolute or percentage upgrades. EDIT: just tried with a golden one, and not even when I interact with a station it updates the info on cargo (but the energy goes up, on the bar bellow). I had to enter and exit the galaxy for it to work. Yet on cargo/trade systems: I have this bug on this ship, which has 3 icons for looking for info in the system. while only one does that (the others open empty lists). they appear after some strange systems that were not being removed from the ship, but at the same time they were adding items to the system list bellow. can't tell more though, can't reproduce the thing :\ and then, when you open the menu: that is in a 1920x1080 screen resolution, and all is clogged up and sometimes hard to read anything. Finally, if you are in mouse steer, and pressing a key for ship movement (like W to accelerate) and then a selection menu open up (such a station buy/sell, a interaction from a friendly ship with options etc), the last movement order is locked, so, if you were pressing W to accelerate, it will keep doing so, even if you release the key. Sometimes this can be handy, but others disastrous, as I have experience in near head on collision because I couldn't control my ship. That's all for now, any question, say :)

I also wondered that regarding the huge rocks I found ;) Ok, once again, i'm starting to be a pain now :p this time with a video, that demonstrates better I think: 2 things: asteroid blocks that take too long to visually disappear, and why by killing pirates I am losing relations with my home sector? edit: also, as you can see, I had to use windowed mode to capture that video, donno why but borderless didn't cut it off :\
  11. ahhh ok, now I get it. and yes, is working ;) yet on that matter, when I am in Building mode, when I equip a weapon it says on the side "removed" with the weapon icon displaying. is that right? also happens when you equip systems. and now regarding systems, how does the Object detector works? because I have a golden one, with 9.21 of highlight range, and I fly nose dive to huge asteroid (is that a rare valuable item?) and nothing happens :\
  12. one more found, and this is exploitable: - get some stolen cargo, and then dump it. when you capture it again, its "clean" cargo now. Also, on this matter, we could have the option of picking up cargo or not, because, once I got some cargo in the middle of a fight, and next to me were some frigates, who right away came with the "you got stolen cargo" chat. lost all my credits there, without intending to get the cargo in the first place :| lol thank you. didn't remember that there were savage lasers, havent got one yet :\

Ok, so played a couple of hours and I found this: - In name ship box, text cursor cannot be moved along text, always in the end (maybe was intended, then is a suggestion, make it movable so one don't have to erase all because he missed a letter in the beginning ;D ) - In Keyboard steering, left shift was not resetting the camera. - Weapon selection (1, 2, 3, etc...) was not working, always all weapons selected. - in build mode, there was a circumstance where while deleting a block, it would remain there, or at least, the image of it, but no more selectable, or counting to statistics, as if it was not there. but you could see it anyway. - tried to use the report bug, but it didn't work, I think it made my Firefox crash (not sure). - mining lasers do absolutely no dmg to ship wreeks. like 1. and no metals were being harvested, no matter if iron or titannium, nor turret efficiency. Also, I found a smuggler hideout (is that the name?) but I could not sell my "robed cargo", every time I placed the number of units I wanted to sell, it turned to 0. Bt maybe I just don't know the mechanics here. Small question too: what is a travellers stash and a hidden stash? :p
  14. We'll be sending out the Steam keys tomorrow via the email address you provided in the survey from the campaign! You don't have to do anything besides activating the keys on Steam. I shall wait then :)

  19. Turrets and systems yes, you will lose them, but iron and credits, well I can give you those when you log in. I will put some additional random system upgrades on start too, I guess. Copying player files can result in really... Not wanted behaviour. Of course I think it would be possible to edit all of these files but I would need to have complete save editor and I don't feel like making one right now. well. that s a shame, now that I had some nice system upgrades and turrets :\ always there, maybe is just a time-zone mis-catch :p

  21. and you are still missing all the remaining elements, engine and trusters at least to make it operational. I think. I have to try it out.

    Clean-up script

    would it be possible to change the script to only clean up very small wrecks, and leave the big ones? because those (small ones) are the one that get really annoying, like tips of antennas, or one cube wrecks. Also, I've been noticing that most wrecks do not have metal on it for harvest. once a ship is destroyed, only one of the fragments has metal, others don't. is this intended?
