  1. Appearently it does not, while the name and description of the server in the list are correct. It does also show the correct amount of players and others have the same issue connecting to the server.
  2. This should be fixed in new galaxies now, old ones can still have the gates going to the center.

  4. Our server is updated to the latest beta release but I can still not connect to it through the overview. The message that the server is outdated is false, I can connect fine through the IP. This also applies for others trying to connect to our server through the overview.

  8. This error has been popping up a lot in my logs, what is causing this? The server is hosted on a machine with excellent performance, currently dedicated to running one Avorion server with 10-20 players on avarage. I have set worker and generator threads to 4 to no effect. Any explanation on these settings?
  9. Just found that some of the info of the server will show in the server overview when disabling the options to show empty/full/private servers, but still no luck getting into the server. I keep getting the outdated error.
  10. The server just stalled, which it hasn't done in a while, and I think it might be related to the previous error which I am still getting. This is the third time now that a player has lost a whole sector with their builds in it..   11. Thank you for looking into this! Does it also show the stock that is able to be sold with this? Some stations pop up as trade routes, only to find out later that they sell a considerable small amount compared to the factory selling the required resources.
  12. The server overview still seems to be bugged, if you get the error that the server is outdated try to connect directly to the IP.
  13. Only remedy I found were guided missiles, which will even take that last frame you have but it get's the job done.

  15. For me it's not really the crew that is a problem, I'd rather be able to repair the destroyed fighter. Some fighters cost millions, while they are very easy to be destroyed.
  16. The out of sector production mod works on the same principle, I'd love to see something like this implemented by the devs because that could potentially give more performance than it is doing now. Since it will have to do some calculating while you enter a sector it can bring a bit of lag with it, but we have found that to be only minimal as long as there are not more than 10-15 players online at the same time. With more than 15 players online the game itself is pretty laggy anyway so for us the pro's outweigh the cons since it wouldn't be viable to build a lot of stations and expect something out of it.

  19. After some further testing my only conclusion is that the overview is still very buggy. After refreshing a couple times our server name changes into another name, when you try to connect it will connect to that other server instead of our own. When the name is good but the other settings such as difficulty and the current version is showing I am able to connect fine, but that is a very rare occasion since 9/10 I get the message that it's still on version 10.2 which it definately is not.

Hello, I have ran into some troubles with opening a second server on our machine (Windows), usually for other games all you have to do is change the ports to an empty one but that doesn't seem to work now. I get the server up fine, but the message about using --ip is broadcasted. This however should not apply to my case since I want to run two server instances from the same machine. Some kind of explanation wether how to configure multiple server instances would be valued sincerely!
  21. A player told me that he is not able to join through the serverbrowser either, and for some reason he is not able to directly join the IP.

Yes I noticed that too and made a bugreport about it, how come you are not able to join directly through the IP? edit; I seem to be able to join through the server overview now, make sure you select the right server (The description is the same as the title and there are usually 5+ players online)

  24. Nope, the player has reported the loot vanishing in front of him while he was trying to get it. When the boss despawned so went the loot with him after he was destroyed.
  25. Especially the higher tier fighters, which can become quite expensive (multiple millions), die way too fast. How I hoped for them to work was that you can use them indefinately, perhaps with durability or the loss of the crewmen inside them or a respawn timer. Right now their health is way too low compared to the resources they cost to make, even when doubling their health in the fighter generator script. Also some fighters seem to have only 1 hp after deploying, making them die even faster!
