I agree with the factions being too many. Absolutely love the conquering idea, seeing systems recycle would be interesting and give meaning to revisit old places to see what's new.

Like this idea. When i got my hands on fighters myself i loved them, until i realized most fighters i found have 0 hull hp. They die extremely fast and they even fly in front of your own gun fire.
Different types of upgrades could be possible. Speed increase, power increase, shield/hull or even upgrades to allow a couple more fighters into your hanger without having to expand the hanger itself.

All these just get put into the steamfolder of Avorion correct? I seem to have turrets and system upgrades working, but crew fill doesn't work. Also are these for singleplayer, or does it work multiplayer too?
-edit Found my problem, i forgot to save the cmd crew file as lua. Wonder scripts, makes testing stuff out nice and simple.

Turret Rotation lock block

Unsure if this is a bug or if i'm just going about it wrong, I've tried laser and railgun on the rotation lock block with them facing forward at the front of my ship and when shooting, they hit themselves resulting in them unable to deal any damage to anything. Included picture of railgun setup.
