Client crash to desktop after entering wormhole / fleet vanished

After entering a wormhole my client crashed on the loading screen. Upon restarting the game, I spawned in my drone and my entire fleet was gone. They no longer appear in the fleet registry list.

 

Core i7 6800k

GTX 1070

Windows 10

 

I included 2 logs because I'm unsure which was generated as a result of the crash / relaunch.

Is there a file that stores fleet information that I can somehow restore? Are there other methods to restore my ships?

There's no file, but you can do 2 things:

 

1) Update to the beta branch that is currently available on Steam. The crashes aren't fixed yet, but the losing-your-fleet part is fixed.

2) Check back/ahead a few sectors (depending on whether you were set back), your fleet might still be there, it's just not in your registry.

Not only did I find my ships, but they had replicated themselves for some reason. Before crash I had:

 

1 main ship (on other side of wormhole)

1 armed escort

2 miners

---

 

Upon recovering my ships I had

 

1 main ship

4 armed escorts

4 miners

 

Good reward for the time it took to get back to them. Let me know if you need a file to investigate the replication issue (if it warrants investigation of course).

Ah well, then you're in luck. No need for files, I know what caused it. It's either duplication or erasure in case of a crash, and I chose duplication.

These data inconsistencies are fixed in the current beta branch, btw.
