Tsunamik Posted February 14, 2017 Share Posted February 14, 2017 I don´t think that it is reduced by toggling the independent fire mode - it seems like its BASE damage is reduced by even having this independent targetting trait. It seems that all independent turrets have lower damage/dps than their same level/material counterparts imo. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unless you have insane crafted ones and turret slots to spare they aren't worth it imho. That said for salvage and mining turrets it can be worth it. I have crafted independent salvagers and they do great to shred small wrecks. I only had them crafted for their efficiency (48.5) but I don't regret them.
