Server problems | Connection issues

Hello,

 

our server runs now a few days and now we getting problems.

i see in the server console that many players want to connect to our server but they run in a timeout.

 

Looks like this:

 

OnP2PSessionRequest from 76561197992963604

Triggered saving of all server data.

Closing connection to 76561197992963604 due to a timeout.

Ending authentication session of 76561197992963604

 

So in fact nobody can´t join our server anymore.

In fact that happens during the server was on.

I had 5 active players and 1 of them had a connection lost.

From this moment nobody can´t join anymore.

I restarted the server software -> same problem

I restartet the hole server -> same problem

I reinstall Steam -> same problem

 

Any help?

For the time being until things get sorted.

It's an error that's not only affecting Avorion, but other games as well.

 

isAuthenticated=false

 

should be enough. Don't use the non-steam protocols on large, dedicated servers, they're unsafe and error-prone. They're only in as a fallback.

For my server it goes in

C:\Users\USerName\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\galaxies\avorion_galaxy

 

In the Server.ini

Any more news on this?  I just had to switch my server to not use authentication.  Wasn't having an issue before - but seemed to start today with a connection issue  :-X

 

Grateful for any background information as to why this is the temporary fix.  Much Thanks!! :)

Same issue as yesterday, and it's out of my hands I'm afraid. I'll add a workaround for this soon.
