Moving my miners around - I think im missing something

Hi guys,

 

I have a couple wee miners that i want to move around from area to area.

 

Atm I'm warping into their area, group selecting them, telling them to go to the next gate, doing the same in the next area, and so on.

 

I was wondering if there was a way I can go to the main map and tell them to move across multiple areas to get to the next area i want to mine - say 4 gates away.

 

I think I'm missing something

Problem is those miners only mine when you are in sector currently; other sectors are frozen in time. It's on the dev's todo list fixing this, but for now at least you have to babysit your miners.

oh i dont mind babysitting the little guys xD

 

I would just like to be able to tell them to move to a different coordinate once they are done.

 

As in the next 1500+ asteroid area, a few jumps away.

 

Not the end of the world if its not a thing yet, just curious ;]

The point is that they can't go anywhere out of sector unless you are in the sector with them. Why not just tell them to follow you then trundle off to the next 1500+ roid system? You have to go there anyway.
