ddark16
Very cool design here, i like that you added different "upgrades" of each, ill be sure to include these in my fleet. Thanks for sharing!
DerpSuper++
Thanks. :D These ships would do a lot better being shared than sitting here in my singleplayer shipyard, then possibly disappearing forever when I format my drive without backing up. :P

Mad_Irishman
I'm loving the Nemesis. This is my go to ship. My only issue is trying to figure out how to grow it to get the 7th upgrade slot. Any tips would be appreciated. This is a great ship. Fast, maneuverable and stops on a dime. Pretty tough to boot also.
DerpSuper++
@Mad_Irishman IIRC, I built the Nemesis to be just enough to reach 6 slots, I've tried bumping the nemesis up to 7 slots, but I can't find a way that wouldn't jeopardize it's maneuverability, power systems or aesthetics, as it needs at least about an 8 x 8 x 9 computer core, and that's still exluding the supporting systems (generators, thrusters for the extra weight, etc.) to go with it. On the other hand, I just realized that the computer cores under the ship, highlighted in magenta in the picture, are redundant and can be replaced with other systems for a decent boost (~0.4TJ of battery, ~4 GW of power, ~11k additional shields). Blaine
Your ships are great. They're clean, they're a good balance between elegant and bulky/brutish, they follow a certain theme, and they have enough detailing and greebles to add interest without looking like the outer space equivalent of an 17-year-old's heavily modded Honda Civic (apologies to anyone with heavily modded Honda Civics). DerpSuper++
I'm going to use some of your Nemeses to "mine" pirates and aliens where I'm building my stations. Cheers! I'm gonna reply in-character here, "You're Welcome. DSPP Shipbuilding Co. is happy to provide to your military, commercial and other space-faring needs. We hope you enjoy your purchase and continue to be satisfied with our products." Heheh... Nice-looking ships. I like that we can recognize your style across different ships. Nice balance of sleek armor and industrial-looking blocks. I'd love to see ships like that fly through my galaxy! Thanks. :) Though, I'm foreseeing that I might have s little problem with one ship looking like another in the future. Still, I guess that's the challenge. Very nice shiplines! I assume that you have to work with a plethora of hidden thrusters in order to achieve this kind of maneuverability compared to the mass of each ship? Thanks. Also, yeap. I use a lot of hidden thrusters for a variety of reasons, from aesthetic, to avoiding from blinding whoever's flying the ship, to protecting them from collisions, as debris and a few other things can still get through your shields. Though, I've read there's going to be a thruster rework in an upcoming update, so I'm not sure if my ships can still maintain their maneuverability after that. It's gonna be a LOT of rebuilding when that happens, or I might just create a new line of ships with customizable components/systems in mind instead. :P

DerpSuper++
very nice job on the ships, are we aloud to use them in our games? on never mind i see the dl links lol. i was wondering can u make a smaller ship of the Freighter? i like your designs they are really nice :) Thanks. :) For the freighter, I designed it before I heard about the upcoming thruster rework, so I'll wait until after that to see what happens. I can always build a new model otherwise. Furthermore, the whole thruster rework thing is making me decide to put a LITTLE thought into upgradeability in-game, (partially exposed systems, minimizing amounts of hidden systems, removing a few blocks to access system blocks, etc.), since my designs before this post feature a lot of hidden thrusters in order to keep up the ships' maneuverability. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ [uPDATE] Ships: - Added new Raven Series Frigate, designed for early game with braking thrusters more powerful than its afterburners DEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPSSSS ESUACEB. Falkenherz
You outdid yourself with the raven shipline, absolutely stunning! Very close to some favourite form of mine, but I can never make myself to all that fiddly design work around the base components; it really shows here. I hope I can take and adapt the Raven with external colume based thrusters (for realism sake and the upcoming thruster changes) and put in a Xanion shield element somewhere... Also, I will try to transform the central spine into a cargo hold (very efficient mass/hitpoints ratio).
DarkWidow
I really do love your ships, i got the Hyperion and the Thanatos both are really great ships i have been enjoying them alot. The beta as messed them up alot..but your design was genius it took me awhile to find every thruster you place in the ships. but i did manage to get the Hyperion in working order the Thanatos on the other had is going to take alot more work. yaw and pitch are the only problems i have left to tackle on it. but i am running out of spots to place things (since i am trying my best to keep them looking the way they are) it is not easy but i am trying. Keep up the great work. i love all the ships i have seen from you thus far.
DerpSuper++
...<words>... Thanks, glad you like them. :) I've been holding back on posting newer designs so far, mainly because of the looming arrival of DTUs (I don't play the betas). I've been trying to design my newer ships with the thrusters in more easily accessible places in case there needs to be any modifications later on., though there is one non-DTU one that I really want to put up, working on it as of this post. The Pantheon Corp. line of ships have all been built without knowledge of the existence of DTUs, so apologies that you have to spend some time dissecting them. I already have plenty of trouble dissecting them myself and my impulse to "BUILD MOAR NEW SHIPS!!!" isn't helping :P ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ [uPDATE] Ships: - Added new Banshee Series Destroyer to Gomorrah Galactic, featuring all-round above average stats. Also available in Trinium with vastly superior stats. Not for peasants Expensive. General: - Added 2nd page of ship catalog - Added link to 2nd page of catalog on the first page because the forum engine couldn't handle multiple nerdgasms on a single post due to initial post reaching character limit. - Added "non-Beta thrusters" to title description. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ P/S: Yes, if some of you noticed, I've been using some copy-pasta in my designs since, but hey, it works and it saves me much needed time since I have plenty of porn to watch and a right arm workout regime to get to my semester is starting to escalate right now. Rant from one of the sales & marketing department guys: "So, a while ago, we received an influx of complaints from a bunch of self-proclaimed 'adventurers' and 'freelancers', with too much titanium, naonite and credits, that our available range of ships look 'too aggressive' and 'spews thruster flames all over the place' both of which are 'scaring away all the ladies'. We kindly told them to go screw themselves and then released the Wendall-Class. A mid-sized ship with luxuries such as heated seats, toilets with enough buttons and lights to make sci-fi look medieval, whale penis skin leather seats, a Michael Winslow clone as a radar operator and of course, cup holders." "The Wendall-Class boasts a decent shield strength, a small cargo bay and comes with a reasonable amount of upgrade slots. DarkWidow
So an update on playing with all of your ships in the beta build. Hermes-Class Freighter is easy to retro fit to get it to play stable. 3 iron dampeners on the front 2 directional thrusters on the back of the containers (facing towards the camera from the back) and 2 gyros on it (can not remember where i put them off the top of my head) as for alot of the other ships....that is going to take some time to work out things. but i am slowly (and i mean slowly) working on getting them ready for the new DTU.... it is fun to work out the problems and trying to fix them while i try and keep the ships looking like they should.
