Mattes
Wreckage despawns while Salvaging. Happended several times with own wrecked ships as well as randomly spawned wreckage. As soon as one interacts with the wreckage (salvaging, shooting, flying into), it seems like a timer is activated that automatically despawns wreckage after a cerain amount of time. Very annoying when salvaging larger wreckage, as it may despawn just when you get to the valueable parts. In case this behavior is intended, i´d suggest resetting that timer every time the player interacts with wreckage, as well as only despawning wreckage smaller than 10 blocks/volume x. Logfile of the last time this happed is attached. MfG clientlog_Tue_Mar_14_11-15-48_2017.txt
Boxelware Team cepheni Posted March 14, 2017 Boxelware Team Share Posted March 14, 2017 This is a known issue. The timer is started as soon as the player enters that sector, and in other cases is there to clean up clutter from the sector. You are right, the timer has to be reset or made longer for big wreckages.
Mattes
Thanks for the fast reply. I couldn't find anything related to this, is there a list of known bugs somewhere that i missed?
Boxelware Team cepheni Posted March 14, 2017 Boxelware Team Share Posted March 14, 2017 There is only what is in the FAQ, no real bug list. The issue is already fixed on the beta branch (see here for more detail: http://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,2349.0.html), so it will come to stable soon :)
