Suggestion for the website

Good evening all,

 

My suggestion is simple and I believe it could positively effect the community surrounding Avorion. Just a simple shoutbox on the website. Basically I believe it could serve as a place to quickly meet someone to play with or maybe make a group.

 

Just a suggestion. I used to run a clan like 10 years ago now and the shoutbox would be where I spent a lot of time. Why not just spend that time in the game you ask? Idk, good point. But It could definitely help someone find another player to play with or something versus joining a server where almost everyone seems to be AFK.

 

As long as it doesn't turn into this monstrosity full of spam and people complaining about bugs or crashes instead of using the forums. What do yall think?

There is a discord... and shoutbox websites imho are messy.

 

I like the austere look of the current forums its very 2002 and I really prefer that.

 

I also come from a long and extensive background of community leadership and clans etc...

 

The shout box is never really a step in the right direction.

I like the idea of a shoutbox, definately fits the outdatedness of this forum by a decade,

but I agree as well that it is way too messy for a general chat.
