Dinosawer Posted October 6, 2016 Share Posted October 6, 2016 So, erm Is there any way not to get thrown back all the way to your home system when you die? I tried leaving behind some small ships in systems I visit occasionally, but the game ignored those and put me back in a drone in start anyway, so that doesn't seem to do it. Exploring is really fun, but this makes it a bit annoying for people like me who can't fly properly and crash into asteroids :D (note to self: shields don't help against collision damage) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aki Posted October 7, 2016 Share Posted October 7, 2016 You should be able to make custom station types which will let you to change your home sector but I'm not sure what will be the outcome of it in current game state. Some other functions/events/etc could use your home location for their own purposes (for instance in demo it would let you travel all over the galaxy).
