Offline Gameplay (Non-Steam)

I recently bought the game, and I have so much fun with it. but there is one problem. I want to play this with my laptop and since I Own a copy of the game I use third party EXEs to make it so I can play it without steam. Thats where the problem comes in. Whenever I transfer my progression, the game Make another set of player files instead of using the one set of files. Do those files rely on the Steam ID or something but its a hassle for me to keep renaming those files just to continue on a game. The laptop doesnt have steam and no internet connection except when being used from my phone, which I refuse to waste on, because the way Steam autodownloads the game and requires a connection to logon.

To the point. How do I continue my progression without using Steam? and How to have it so it uses Player 1 and always player 1 instead on randomly making new player files.
