Hello new to game, Was wondering how to lower attacks of pirates and aliens

I seen the script event balancing but imagine it out of date has been updated for very long time. So i need to do it myself as i see no other mods for it... the attacks are constant drives me nuts.

 

And i hate .lua so pretty much nothing about it.

Single player or multiplayer?

 

Single player, just put the following in your chat

 

/run Entity():addScript("lib/entitydbg.lua")

 

Click the icon that comes up, 2nd tab from the left, bottom option: Disable Events

That will stop them entirely.  Though you may need to do it with each sector you warp into.

Thanks for the reply. Oh, sorry forgot to mention doing MP. Just looking to lower the frequency of the attacks

If you own the server (or have file access), there might be options.

 

If you are just playing on a server, you are stuck.  Neutral zones don't spawn either pirates or aliens (I think aliens, maybe both), hanging out there while building helps.  The only place I've seen that is utterly immune to either is the end sector of the Exodus quest.

I did this, Must not be changing right thing cause they still happening all the time. It seems any way.

What i want to do is maybe spawn once every 1h-3h can be random... They just spawn to much, With me being new and all. Some spawn, I leave to another sector few minutes later pirate attack there it's nuts. And usually 3+ ships. The starting sector about destroyed for most part.. craziness.
