TE5LA Posted April 11, 2018 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I want to operate a dedicated server but it will not run, giving error of "Requires OpenGL 3.0". I have a server that runs Standard VGA Graphics Driver with on-board graphics. Servers have no need for complex graphics, thus reducing overhead. TE5LA Posted April 11, 2018 Author Share Posted April 11, 2018 Well, after looking about in my old computer parts (I have many), I was able to find an old Nvidia Quadro FX3400 card and installed that. It goes only up to OpenGL 2.1, but I was still able to get server running by skipping the "launcher.bat" and directly running server.bat. Just added this in case it helped someone else. BTW, for those new to servers, copy the server.bat and name the new copy MyServer.bat and modify and use that one, not the original. This way, game updates will not destroy your settings.
