ApolloMk2 Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Hey guys - I just made our private server public this weekend after upgrading the ISP to a 150down/150up Fios connection. There's a lot I'm still updating but the idea is that it will be a lightly modified server that is mostly PVE but will allow PVP at the core. I also plan to run it slightly like we did our old NWN server where there will be certain admin-ran player events. Sort of like boss/raid style scheduled events. We also might host some scheduled PVP events, for example I might find an empty sector and create two temporary Alliances/teams, and create stations for each and have them fight it out, OR i might make a slow ship and the first person to get theirs into the other teams station wins, that sort of thing. Anyway, none of the up-coming changes will require a wipe. So feel free to join now. Thanks! ApolloMk2 Posted August 6, 2018 Author Share Posted August 6, 2018 Difficulty is set to "Difficult" but might be increased in the near future. There are no mods that give any extra power at this time so this difficulty is pretty similar to other "Insane" servers. Collision is at 20%, personally I don't think cruising along not noticing a tiny asteroid that rips apart your entire ship is a fun game mechanic.
