Process Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Hello. Disclamer : sorry for bad english, I'm from France. first : Kudos to the devs, this game is a pure gem. I'm just starting in Avorion. I made the tutorial, build my first little ship, and had some fights with pirates. So to the point, I have looted guns, but my ship cant take more than 2 mining guns and 1 regular gun (it seems) in the building mode. how to you expand the number of guns allowed ? total size of ship ? thx in advance. :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dinosawer Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 You can find system upgrades (they look like SD cards when you find them) by buying them or looting them. Some of those are turret upgrades, increasing your amount of allowed armed/unarmed/both turrets. You equip those in the ship menu. By default you can have 1 armed, 1 unarmed and 1 undetermined turret. (so 1 armed and 2 unarmed or 2 armed and 1 unarmed) (armed = weapon, unarmed = mining/salvaging/support/...) hippieshopper Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I've found that you get those little upgrade chips from killing stuff and from Engineering Docks, I think.
