suggestion for rotating/moving parts

hello.

i am not sure if something similar has already been suggested but i would like to suggest something in the category of rotating parts.

thinking about for example:

bearings (unpowered for stabilising large sections), rotors (powered to start and keep rotation going/stopping the rotation) and linear actuators (both powered or unpowered to facilitate the possibility of making folding parts moving platforms etc.

 

uses would be for example. rotating parts of a ship to simulate a gravity generating ring for crew. moving nacelles on ships. having turrets covered untill needed, build designs that open up or close when in combat. building missile launchers with the torpedo's power and accuracy

 

as i can understand the problems coming with these in the physics simulation these could be made purely for looks. so they would not need to have physics or less.

 

hope this idea helps make the great game better.
