BeBox Posted July 16, 2019 Share Posted July 16, 2019 A clear description of what happened I load the game avorion. I get anywhere from 30-60 FPS in the main menu. I select a world I wish to join (I don't play multiplayer) and join that world just fine. I get an average of 15-18 FPS while in a home sector, 22-35 in an inhabited sector (with buildings but no HQ / low traffic area) and 45 static in an empty sector without any signs of life. Step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the bug. I've heard this is just an issue with AMD so it's whenever I join a new/existing galaxy. Bear with me ;) Which window mode are you using? Fullscreen vs. borderless or windowed has been shown to improve performance. Are you using VSync? Maybe in combination with a fps limit? Some people reported performance issues with these settings. What output do the frame time graphs give you? You can activate them in the main menu under settings - video.
