There is already an increase in challenge as players approach the center of the galaxy. What I propose is (as a purely optional and variable setting) that sectors with more than a few player created stations (made by a single player) becomes a target of larger (number and/or size of ships) pirate raids and/or Xsotan incursions until other players build stations and/or have some ships patrolling (to discourage these threats). It's my hope that this could be used to encourage co-op play. This is also to add some danger to the convenience of putting many stations together in a single sector.
