Hello fellow Space-Explorers,

 

I have one small question,

- Is the a way to let my Mining Ships only dig for a specific Ore?

Only way I can think of would be to purposely give them lower tier mining lasers, but this merely makes it so they can’t mine anything that’s beyond +1 of the mining laser. Limiting a higher end miner from mining lower tier stuff wouldn’t work this way, unfortunately.

I wanted something similar.  Not really an option to limit the ore being mined, but rather prioritize it.  So, say I need Trinium, a nice dropdown could be provided that allows me to select Trinium.  Then once all the Trinium is gone, a notification would be sent to the player and in the mean time resort to whatever it does now.  I assume closest rock?

I have wondered this too ... tried to jiggle things and ... NOPE.

You cannot specify type of RSS mined.  (Other than changing out the material quality of your mining turret).
