PixelVita
Hello, I'm having a problem launching the game and setting a resolution to play Avorion. When I first launch Avorion it sets itself to "Borderless" with a resolution of 1280x720. The screen UI is all off-center and my mouse location is offset. I've tried manually setting the screen resolution and settings inside the settings.ini file as I'll include, but when I go to launch the resolution does not change. I keep getting a resolution of 1366 x 768 @ 60hz as stated by my monitor if I go above 1280x720. Borderless, Windowed Fullscreen etc.. I think it has something to do with Avorion detecting what resolutions my monitor actually supports. Sometimes my monitor does read weird like 59.4hz 59.7hz etc... Please help me.. for now all I got is Twitch to enjoy Avorion lolz.. Monitor Specs :50' panasonic which supports 720p 1080p @ 60hz a billion other resolutions CPU : AMD Fx 8350 GPU : AMD Rx 480 - Radeon Software Version 17.1.1 Game : Steam Version. Thank you :-\ clientlog_Thu_Jan_26_09-45-06_2017.txt settings.ini client.ini
Naggerknife
Might not look pretty but try changing the resolution to your monitor and see if that helps.
PixelVita
Changing my monitor resolution doesn't help. Was wondering if window creation is using SDL2 Lib? I'm assuming the game is written in OpenGL. Just trying to figure something out on my end with what I got with logs...etc.. :( bump?
Boxelware Team koonschi Posted February 1, 2017 Boxelware Team Share Posted February 1, 2017 What OS do you have? If it's Win10 have you tried adjusting your UI scaling?
PixelVita
Yes, I do use Windows 10 and changing my UI Scale resolved all issues with any resolution I wanted to run the game in ;D !!! yay! P.S I had to set it to 100% for everything to work, any other setting and it would not load properly.
