Object selector [target] filter

Suggestion

Sup guys, I'm having a blast with the game, not complaining here, it is rather a complement, but there is so much content that fine tuning of some mechanics are almost NECESSARY.

 

Whenever you are cycling through targets, I think there is a need for a object filter, when cycling through them, but only once you have C43 Object Detector like:

Wreckage [ X ]

          Only full wrecks [ X ] (by mass or 75% wreck HP?)

Asteroids

          Claimable [ X ]

          By Ore [ X ]

                    Iron[ X ]

                    Titanium[ X ]

                    ...

Secret Stashes [ X ]

 

It would make looting more enjoyable instead of a PITA, because right now, even though the game has branched a lot of nice concepts, there is still some fine tuning to make it a HIT for sure. I guess it falls on optimizing UI and gameplay, people will always like when a game is optimized, UI is intuitive and streamlined so the player feel like the time is being invested and not wasted.

You mentioned the C43 Object Detector, and using that as a way to develop a solution ...

 

I agree with your ideas, and have an additional suggestion:

  • The C43 rarity would determine its range of effectiveness (as is already the case);
  • Discovered C43s would come with “various sensitivities”, (per your suggestion) the number of which depends on rarity
  • Maybe allow for the possibility to “craft” sensitivities
