Id like to see some defence platforms make a show for station protection.. I know what you guys are gonna say and I dont aggree I know you can make a ship and have it stationary but to be effective at all it would need to almost be the size of a station.. Im suggesting a special (deployable) ship type made from the shipyard kinda like the ships that can turn into a station but different.. this one would turn into a platform which would have a bonus status of massive mass so it cant be pushed around but remain smaller "or maybe add mass enhancers like in space engineers" or maybe super effective platform inertia dampeners so the platform can fire a railgun and not flip all over the friggin place.. we need more building options for defences... Also they would be made automated so crew cost is removed and they can function without crew
