  1. Hello there! I've spent the better part of two days attempting to get this mod to work, going through numerous posts and potential solutions, only for it to not work. I've resorted to wiping my entire Avorion installation, reinstalling it, and only installing ScriptShipLoader and Carrier Commands and starting a new galaxy, to no avail. All I get is "Failed to locate script: mods/CarrierCommander/scripts/entity/CarrierCommander.lua" At this point I'm not sure what to do, and it would be nice if I could get some help on this.
  2. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Spent some time messing with the values, generating galaxies with a specific seed and went to the closest sector with lots of asteroids. Just got 5 spawn in the same sector. Again, thanks for the help :D
  3. Flying bricks into pirates can be quite fun, especially if your brick takes ~0% damage while your target evaporates before your eyes >:D
  4. I'm finding it hard to find sectors which have more than 2 claimable asteroids to set up mines on... Wondering if there is a way for me to increase the chance for a sector to spawn more of them?
  5. Well, if the scale is right, and you spend time finding the right size of edge parts, you can create a gap in the middle of the wings, which then can be used for actual blocks, but it wouldn't be as effective as the main body. I suppose, at the end of the day, it depends on how much you want to sacrifice gameplay-wise for a nice looking ship, but I believe with enough time put into it, you can strike a balance between the two.
  6. Fairly complex, especially with the wings, a lot of edge manipulation required, however, it can be done. Might take a bit, though.
  7. So I think I've "fixed" the issue now, let's see how long these links last for, eh. Also I have a few more ships in the works, would be better if I made a "shipyards" type thread for all of my ships?
  8. So apparently my links are broken.... I'm gonna be looking into other solutions to host this file, so bare with me for a moment :o
  9. Dropbox, Google Drive. There are quite a few places to upload from, a quick google search might give you some alternatives though.
  10. Holy.... Shit... Applause to you, good sir, I tip my hat to you out of respect.
  11. On top of that, could also allow the option to build shipyards ourselves
  12. I'd like there to be a way where I can order my ships, ones which arn't piloted by me but my captains, to follow me through hyperspace. I have 11 ships at my command, and I don't think it's effective to warp them individually, which is inefficient at best. It could even be limited, as in, you can only jump as far as the ship with the least hyperspace jump range, for example, your main ship could jump 22 sectors, but one ship following you can only jump 10, therefore, you can only jump 10.
  13. Its not that I dont like it, actually I do, but 400k of avorion is quite hefty summ for survival mode ;D I, for example, wont be able to use it anytime soon in my campain. Btw since it is a big ship, bad steering is fine, you can take a punch anyway. And at this point in game you dont mine yourself, it is faster to employ some small mining ships. Maybe I should make a variant of the Mk II which is made mainly from Trinium and Xanion... Call it the Mk II/B? :o
  14. Well if ya really want it... It's not as good as the Mk II imo. It doesn't handle nearly as well, but it is made mainly from Xanion... http://www.mediafire.com/file/yzr2ukray72ruqn/UNSC_-_Nevada_Mk_I.xml
  15. Alrighty, here is the updated version of the UNSC Nevada :D I'm very happy with this now, as the wings are a little wider, the tail is now properly made and the back has been neatened up. Also, upon significant request, I have uploaded this and it is available for everyone to download. Don't complain if it is slow or it drifts, I did warn you lol Oh, before I forget, a word of warning, this ship requires Iron, Trinium, Xanion and Avorion, as well as a high amount of credits.
