  1. This is the same behaviour of salvaging fighters - which makes it difficult to salvage with them. There are a few changes that could be made that would greatly increase their use. First off, when salvaging instead of having all fighters target the center of the target (this works for combat, but not for mining and salvaging) have them target in a similar fashion as the auto targeting salvage and mining turrets. Also, it would be of great help to have the fighters auto target - they're flown by pilots you hire after all! Perhaps if there was a Auto Target mode you can select with them so they'll seek out targets within their range - mining, salvage, and combat. As things are now, I feel that fighters are broken and not worth any investment due to their cost and inability to function in a meaningful way. Hope my feedback helps!
  2. There seems to be an issue where the auto-targeting system will target something way out of it's range and then the turret won't let go of the target until you're extremely out of it's range. I've noticed this off and on when in a field of debris or when at the salvage yard. A good example to reproduce is to put yourself in the middle of bunch of materials at different distances, some out of range, and then toggle on the auto-targeting salvagers. They will sometimes pick targets close in, but sometimes (Maybe due to the target being more valuable?) will target something out of it's firing range and stay locked on, haulting all salvaging until you find what it's trying to target and move within it's range so it can be destroyed. I am of the belief that auto targeting turrets should always only seek targets within it's targeting range and firing arc. This would make auto targeting turrets much more valuable instead of a pain to use. Thanks! I love the game keep up the great work!
