@Koonschi: I'm in there with one of my best ships, but i've blown up before, and being able to play is worth more than whatever was on my ship. Hi Koonschi! I'm having an issue when connecting to a friend's dedicated linux server. I'm in Xanion airspace and a very large space battle started happening between two factions. As soon as they started fighting, i crashed to desktop. On reloading, as soon as the NPC Ships load in, it crashes again. I have experienced this issue before when on a public server and reducing my graphics settings seemed to fix the issue. This time, I was unable to fix it by reducing the graphics settings. I can barely get in and see motion before the battle loads in again and I crash to desktop. I have an 8 core processor, GeForce GTX 1080 - 8mb and 16mb of ram. I have tried these steps: reduced the resolution of the window itself down to 1024x768 reduced all graphics settings to lowest possible and removed all extras like AO Lowered sound to minimum Tried Windowed, borderless and fullscreen Tried launching from desktop and directly from steam Joined single-player as well as other servers successfully Force quit all applications in task manager before launching Restarting computer and launching client immediately It seems like you're doing all the troubleshooting on your own, so I did as much as possible before asking for help.
