Thanks, that worked. The map marker and the previous beacon was way off. In the meanwhile I tried my own thing and managed to spawn the beacon and the wreckages in a different sector by running the mission script manually, but went back to confirm that the script you wrote worked too and pointed me to the right position.

See picture: http://imgur.com/a/QKIdc The second to last beacon is telling me to go to -429, -505. The game area ends at -499. The exclamation mark for the quest is showing up at -429, -499 but the last beacon is not there. Is there any way to cheat and spawn the beacon to complete the quest?
