The Escort Carrier would make a good ship for extra captains you use just to mine stuff in some far away system while you fight pirates and bosses and do your stuff. It's the one im trying to replicate but the rounded front is making my life impossible.It just so happens that I've made Sword-class frigate- my smallest ship yet

As in the title, I think that turrets, when switched off, should rotate back to the orientation they were placed in. Seing all turrets pointing at diffrent places looks somewhat wrong when no enemys are present.

As in the title, we really should be able to paint the blocks in any given color, instead of having to use very limited palette. Especially that some colors like most very dark colors or shades of green are VERY limited. Isuggest using sliders of red, green and blue as well as opacity of the paint in the color selection menu.

I had situation when I would need this block, people will be very confused how to use it though.

Some sort of a slider on how big (length, thickness, brightness / transparency) the plume is would be very helpfull. "Might be even better as a straight particle producing block so that it can be utilized with thrusters as well" as said by CaotcAftermth

Guys, I'm back! Sorry for staying silient for so long, I'm in college and I do not have much time. But, I wanted to update ships I created and perhaps creating something new. Each ship is intricate. like a galaxy-roaming art gallery with HyperDrive engines, lol.

I had a break from Avorion, but when I return to the forum to upload my new ship, I see that you added more beautiful creations. But please make your future ships more flyable. Triing to stop with your Dautless is kinda painfull. You can use inertia dumpeners or convert some of the armor into regular hull. I updated my own Dauntless if you want something to compete against :) (even though yours is twice as expensive and has much stronger shields). Btw I was really tempted to steal your engine nozzle breaks and parts of the bow. Would you mind?
they are unflyable becouse only Dauntless was built in the latest version :p
And you can copy parts of my ships, just give me a credit or sth if you post ships with copied parts :)

Well, the truth is that my ships are like 90% replica and 10% of my creative invention.

I know what faithful means, and I meant that my creations are not that ACCURATE, they are my interpretations of this ships. If I were to make a true model, it would look somewhat diffrent.

Details on your ISD looks great! The only thing that bothers me are those square engine nozzles... If you could make them into sth like half-spheres it would look better. Nevertheless, impressive ship. Well done.

To be honest, I did not anticipate so positive replies from everyone comming here, as I do not find my ships as wonderful as everyone seems to think.

These are beyond amazing, not only in the faithfulness of reproduction, but also in how you figured out workarounds to the fact that all of Avorion's blocks are rectangular and/or angular and produced curves, the aquila emblem, etc. Of course, circles on a screen are made of very small rectangular pixels, so it's not hard to figure out how, but fitting them all together properly is a real feat.
Faithfulness? It's just my interpretation of "gothic" style of imperial ships, it is not, by any standards, faithful representation. At least months of building gothic cathedrals in minecraft paid off :D
