  1. There also should be an option to fully view every gate line if wanted. A settings option for view. Checkboxes for gates, ancient, possibly even explored sectors.
  2. If this has been suggested before, please let me know. This seems silly saying this in a space oriented game. I asked a buddy about this and he told me it was stupid till I explained myself. Most "city" areas have miners, extractors, ect. They're labeled with a bunch of letters, but it seems some of them are labeled with N, E, S , W. It would make sense that there could be an easier way of navigating knowing the current map layout found while pressing "M". It would be great knowing which direction is what when navigating through gates (ancient in specific). Some portals are a gamble, and I'd think having the technology of hyperjump would have some sort of directional support when navigating through space. The map alone is static and keeps perfect proportions based on a compass pattern. Scrolling out completely with your mouse wheel will show everything in your sector, and It would be awesome knowing the direction you're headed.
  3. If this has been suggested before, please let me know. Idea; Option to change the color of your waypoint marker to any RBG or color wheel. Having a purple/blue waypoint marker in an area of a purple/blue background is kind of annoying trying to find where to go. The option to change to a brighter color would be awesome. This could also apply to everything. Rather than having a faction you don't like being blue, you could change them to orange/red depending on how you feel. Giving a slightly more immersive experience. Think of the Defcon system. If you personally feel if a faction is weary, change their default color of blue to yellow/orange/red. Just a personal reminder on the map how you feel about that faction. The photo I've attached shows the struggle I'm having seeing the waypoint. If you can't see, there's a blue waypoint aiming at the north east.
