  1. From what I've experienced, the changes to thrusters are currently disappointing at best, abysmal at worst since the changes royally screws over people who are trying to have a nice design aesthetic and maintain combat effectiveness since it's no longer possible to get even decent braking thrust or even thrust for other directions without having truly massive thrusters that are even larger than the main engines. Kind of makes it impossible to design ships that are effective in combat and still look nice.
  2. A nice compromise would be to have engines be able to be rotated to give you the ability to make sudden stops and evasive maneuvers by diverting the power from the rear engines to the engines you would place in key locations along the bow, port, starboard, ventral, and dorsal sections of your ship. Thrusters can still be used for gradual slowdown and rotational changes along the three axis of rotation from the center of your ship.
  3. To get the material costs there's a mod that adds a /price function you can use from the mod section that can give you the credits and raw material costs of any ship. easiest way is to load the creation in creative mode to get the costs
  4. Mediafire or Dropbox would be able to handle the xml sizes with no issues.
